I love to watch Lidia’s progress! My 11 yr old daughter (yes, 11!) had a hemorrhagic stroke one year ago. December 2020. She could not do anything at first. She’s now walking well with a walker, and is starting to walk by herself. Speech is finally coming back, but its slurred. Lidia’s progress gives us inspiration. And the way you make and narrate these videos, with humor and lots of laughter, just makes my heart sing.
my hemorrhagic stroke was july 2019...Ive done a whole lot of therapy in patient and out pt....Im nowhere near where I want or need to be... i walk with quad cane but not good at all...my left arm is non functional...Its hard to keep hope when Im so far from the life i want.......I have no choice but to wait and see what happens.. its just so long in my 3rd yr now im 55yrs old. im sorry i cant comment positive for myself but I NEED TO HAVE MUCH MORE PROGRESS TO HAVE AN attitude change.. But i am inspired by watching these videos.. thank u for sharing
Thank you so much for sharing her progress. I have so much questions to ask you, as I’m dealing with same situation. I wish every state had the same programs and care for strokes patients. She is really in great hands and is just amazing how she’s progressing by the day. I need more information from you please.
Once our insurance no longer paid for physical therapy, our therapist (who was once a student in this program) referred us to the lead professor. We were put on a waiting list and were eventually called to participate. They want this to be a good experience for the students as well. I don’t think we would have called in if Lidia didn’t have a good attitude to begin with. The students are awesome.
