Very much enjoying this mini series of interior design from you guys!! I admire well-thought out and designed spaces but rarely do I get to see the process and the reasoning behind the steps so this is extremely informative and such a treat!!! Can't wait for the next vid
That couch is gorgeous. The color choice is a good alternate neutral. The fact that I am very partial to that "velvet" material sealed the deal. Also having a comfortable couch is essential to me. No offense IKEA but your couches are not comfortable to me at all. It's fun watching you rebuild your lives in Portland. Thanks for the inspiration!
The blue color is STUNNING! This exact couch was on my short list when I was looking a few months ago but then we had some unexpected house repairs that put it off. It was so nice to see it in someone's place - it's just as gorgeous as I imagined
Thanks for sharing this process. I'm an absolute novice when it comes to this sort of design process with a house. But from last video and this one, it's been really interesting and helpful to break up spaces and figure out how they will all work today. Really liked that mood board, particularly how simple it seems to do in photoshop.
Love the couch. Velvet is lux. I want to see more coffee table to dining pieces though, because I actually had that idea on my own before, and then your nyc video was the first place I saw one in real life. You should make a line of those and sell them. I’d buy one.
I live in Tulsa. Wow! Small world! Your talking about midtown. I used to live in that area. Hipster vibe their for sure. Where did you guys move too. I was born and raised here but would like to branch out! I am a new sub. Love the velvet sofa btw.
10/10 recommend that Ikea rug you showed in your Photoshop ideas for the rest of the space. It's not the cushiest, but it's super easy to clean and I love the way it looks!
Totally love it! It suits your aesthetic well. I’m in the process of redecorating and blue is one of my hero colors. Congrats on your first adult couch.
Hello, I'm glad that you can step out of your comfort zone ! This truly is an Amazing Color and style. I too love the tufted seat . It's definitely made for you two.. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your New apartment Styled 😍 TFS Hugs
This is a beautiful couch y’all. I LOVE the blue colour. Excellent choice. Also, Sarah, I love your hair down. Your hair looked so pretty when you were talking into the camera.
Here's the big question based on your couch choice. You two entertained SO MUCH out of town company in NYC, I thought you may choose a pull out sleeper couch? I'm sure everyone who visited in NYC will want to see Portland. OR are you trying to send them a message? lol (a joke) Where are you planning for your company to sleep?
I would like to know about the website you used for the blue couch and how you incorporated your other pieces into it. You got the couch for free since they are sponsoring this video?
great video! This sofa is particularly interesting because i'm almost sure it's a white label sofa. You'll see that literally all online furniture stores sell this at very different prices though all looking extremly identical. Some places for $400 others over $1000. We almost bought this exact one in green last year, but we didn't because we feared that these were all made by the same chinese factories and just branded differently. Furniture market in the U.S is so whack!
I don’t know if we really had one. Everything was in the same tonal range so nothing in particular was the anchor of the space. I did regularly say the Coffee table was the hero because of the functionality.
Ok, this style of cutting to a single person shot in front of the book cases, perfectly centered obviously... yes. Yes to that. And seriously, that dang couch.... #Jealous
