Which camera set up is best for a portrait shoot? I use 6 different camera set ups to do a photo shoot with Racquel Cook at my GriniFlix Studio.
Nikon vs Leica vs Hasselblad.
Film vs Digital.
Megapixels: 12 vs 24 vs 45 vs 50MP
Focal length: 50mm 70mm 105mm
Aperture: f1.2 vs f1.4 vs f4.0
Medium format vs Full Frame.

I shoot Nikon z6, D700 and the hasselblad 500c/m & H1 {phase one P45+/HM16\32 film back} I love the immediacy of the Z6 and use this for 'general' times I'm out(also for the matrix metering and histogram) ; the Hasselblads are 'project' rigs, I decide to take these to a location (urban landscape/gardens, etc.) as they are heavy, as I shoot the HCD 300 f3.5 and 35 f4.5 for wide and detail work, so it does mean I can't walk too far.

It's true each camera offer a particular look and feel and to me, there isn't a best camera for everything. My current favourite is the Fujifilm 50S with Mitakon 65mm f1.4 combo, it offers Pentax 67 with 90mm look without shooting film.

good comparison, but why don't you set the iso of the CFVii50C to lower iso (80/100) as this is where it will perform the best, esp. for these large sensors [less digital noise]- I do know that this is a CMOS sensor, as this was certainly true of the H1/2/3 which where outfitted with CCD sensors and for these, 80 was a recommendation, for Quality setting, to get the most out of the lenses, as hot pixels was an issue with this sensor design; but you can definitely see the Leica, Nikon & to some lesser extent the 504 CW {as the look is due to the film stock} is coloured different, as they don't have the Hasselblad Colour science, that the 907x does, better skin tone, more so in the colour shots, still great "commercial" quality, for 135 Digital formats, but the rendering of the Carl Zeiss lenses of the 504CW and the 907x XCD lenses, bokeh, and subject separation, is by far better.
