Be warned: your work is fantastic; $300 for a pair of earrings or a piece will be in the lower price point collection! ❤❤❤ Glad I found you. I wish there were the media tools available to me that are to you, when I started. Suggestion for you about loss of pieces: perhaps a 3D scanner to save your work data. Your pieces can be scanned and sent digitally to your caster. Also, you can get your work molded. I'm sure you'll be a success and be able to ditch the desk job for the beloved bench....work/play!
I did not know you could 3d scan anything?! 🙈😂 whaattt, thank you!! I’m absolutely going to look that up!!!🤯 thank you so much for all of your crazy good advice! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
And thank you for the compliment, proving my jewelry is something I’ve always struggled with, I’m trying to get better at being more realistic with what to charge in order to keep myself running and profitable so I can do this full time one day 🥲
I just found your channel this week and am so enchanted and have watching so many of your videos...and love that I was able to find this one that was your very first...including the blips from your kiddo. So good! And so cool to contrast this video to where you are now in your shop and your work. I love finding other metalsmiths that are balancing the stay at home mom-life with little ones (ESPECIALLY boys- they are so busy!). I have had my casting setup gathering dust in my studio for over 6years now...though I learned to cast old school like 20 years ago. My business is 7yrs old- the age of my son. Just wanted to tell you that I absolutely love your content and your work. You are so easy to listen to and you're so informative! And so generous with sharing knowledge- You're one of my people. I am majorly self taught but have taken a few classes here and there. Our current chapter in life is calling for me to start leaning on carving, casting, mold making over the full fabrication style I've been doing. You are inspiring me, momma. And I think I'm going to swap out some of my casting setup for something like what you have. Love how streamlined its all become for you over the last year or so. Keep it up!
This is sooooooooo inspiring,I’ve been wanting to start a RU-vid channel so bad but just never actually do it and this is really going to make me start! You’re being so authentic and true and that’s exactly how I want to do it! Thank you so much!
Gosh, Love these videos. You talked about going down the rabbit hole in another video and sheesh, that is me for sure. This is all so helpful, so thank you! Definitely subscribing!
I just watched all your videos, thanks for sharing your journey :) I'm getting into silversmithing and you've made me really curious about wax carving - it looks so fun! your vids have been so easy to watch and really inspiring. can't wait to see where your creativity takes you!
So thankful I found your channel, I watched your Etsy video and got hooked. Excited to see how far you go, excited for this to be your full time job 🤞🏼🙏🏼♥️🌼💚
How did you get your equipment? I love the channel and your jewelry! I’m in the same boat where I want to do it full time but just don’t know how!!! Good good luck to you! I understand the passion😂
Amazing! I have recently found you here and just realised that you only started a RU-vid not long ago! Wow, you have really grown in a few months and also - you don't have that much of a competition for this here. So, this is a very good place and time for you to do and grow. I can't wait to see - how you gonna bloom overa night to what it will seem I am sure - and you will never have to worry about anything again! Love and Light! Lina from UK xXx
OMG! You're so cute!!! Thank you so much for this video and for everything you've shared. This video was very inspiring! I've had my own jewelry business for 5.5 years now but it's still part-time for me. I've been thinking recently that I would like to start a YT channel for my jewelry business and this is confirmation. I'm happy to see that you were able to grow your business!
