モデルの方は肉付きが少しいいけどイラストの方は細身になってるのすごい。構図だけ借りて、体の体型は自分好みにできるのは長年描き続けた結果なんだなーってつくづく思います。日本語でごめんなさい🥹

i used to just... avoid drawing all that, back when i did live model art classes, but then every single time afterwards the dudes would look at our work and then go "aw cmon, it's not that bad is it?" 😭

I see many mistakes. Not enough muscle, left leg should be more far apart and the hip should be more towards the right to his elbow. The point is to make you guys feel better that even good artists like him make mistakes and still need to study and learn throughout their lifetime.

I always feel inspired to sketch alongside you when watching! Something I wonder is, do you ever use a 'line of action' when doing figure gesture drawing? I notice the model's center of balance is more exaggerated than at first glance, as is usually the case with figure gestures. After so many life drawing classes, I found it helpful to exaggerate a model's spine curvature more than I think I need to- and it ends up appearing more lifelike in the end; less stiff.
