I have been watching some of your videos lately, and I just wanted to say that you are so inspiring! I have been thinking about potentially pursuing a PhD in biomedical science, but I have been scared by how everyone else seems to say it is so terrible and hard. But after your video, I can see that with a lot of hard work and effort, you can have a balanced lifestyle and a happy one at that. So, thank you!

Very glad you enjoyed the video! Mentorship and academia is extremely near and dear to me, so if you have any questions please feel free to ask them! All I can say is that graduate research life is definitely what you make of it. Having dedicated rest days where you are completely detached from work is what helps me achieve balance with my studies!

I do have a few questions for you… 1) Do you think a masters is necessarily for a biomedical science PhD? 2) How did you choose immunology as the subject of your PhD over other biomedical sciences? 3) Do you think a Biochemistry bachelors is a good bachelors for an immunology PhD?

I love your vlogs ! I was deciding between Bose and the Sony WH-1000XM5 and I ended up with the Sonys and I really them but it doesn’t cancel out everything. I don’t live for the cold either and yesterday was super windy and cold where I’m at I’m ready for spring

I'm so glad! I recently got the Bose QC45s and they have been pretty good. I've never owned any other headphones or noise cancelling earphones, so I can't really compare to other brands...
