kenj I’m a native Texan, but you’re out of your mind if you think Duncanville can handle either of these trinity league powers. Duncanville has Southlake Carroll to worry about!!
@@dudedude949 Arebyou serious dude? Have you seen them play this year? They are going to wipe the field with Southlake Carrol this Saturday. You will see. Im going to come back to this thread after that massacre. Dont hide!
kenj I’m not saying the Duncan boys won’t take down Carroll. I’m saying the panthers would struggle big time against either Bosco or Mater Dei. These teams recruit literally the most talented kids in not just SoCal, but the entire nation.
@@dudedude949 Yeah that's also what everyone said about St Johns and we see what Duncanville did to them earlier this year. Duncanville isn't #3 in the country for no reason. (Btw, Texas schools recruit too - its just unofficial and under the table)
When Bosco was down 28-5 it looked like it was over! But DJ caught fire and Bosco didn't give up. Their defense came up with big stops especially the sack fumble on Young in the red zone. That game was fire!!
Wow UTR great Job with the game coverage no music all action I love it....and westcoast football is the best in the country had to play the two best teams on a college field nobody better than Cali Ball!
This was a true classic football game! Down by a few TDs at HOME against a powerhouse football team, then the 2nd half momentum change to come back & win it all. That's real home field advantage right there, great game by both teams 🔥🔥🔥 will def see a lot of these guys on Saturdays & some on Sunday's 👀
Not really home field advantage. It was actually a neutral site (Cerritos College), and both teams have played there many times in the past few years. The reason this was so close was because the teams are in a class by themselves, they are intense rivals, and they are so competitive against one another. Every other team they played they blew them out.
Words can't describe how happy I am that Bosco finally got its revenge!, I thought it was over for them in the first half when MD took a huge lead, thank goodness I was proved wrong
I told y'all they could do it if they shut Kody down. Repeat of 2016 but with a more epic comeback and the only team to beat MD the past 3 years. These boys deserve that #1 ranking this year
@@marcvslicinivscrassvs7536 I think we both know what the result would be if either of these two teams rolled down their and played them though.... Dville still hasn't played a ranked team other then overhyped st John's and they into like round 4 of the playoffs😴
Callum Stark I agree Cali has the 2 best TEAMS but look at the results of college football all of the INDIVIDUAL talent seems to be from the south...LSU, Bama and Georgia are full of players from average high school teams but they dominate college while the entire west coast is irrelevant in college football! I know all of cali’s best players don’t stay home but that happens everywhere
Idk....not a choke in my opinion. Just from watching the highlight it seems like bosco BEAT MD. Again, just from highlights I did not watch the full game
Actually, Bryce Young is generally very well-contained by Bosco. That wasn't the real key to this game. They doubled up on Kody Epps, for one thing, and held him to one catch all game (a short one). But even that wasn't the real key. I think the difference was Bosco's defense, which got very aggressive in the second half. Also, MD's O-line dominated in the first half, but Bosco won the battle of the trenches in the second half. That, in turn, opened up the passing game.
@Goatbe Bryant Blame our dam UIL committee. But if I'm not mistaken ducanville did play st John's earlier this year and ducanville put a whopping on st John's.
@@humblyinfluenced107 Duncanville played a very rare out of state game at St. John's in Baltimore. It wasn't exactly a whooping: 35-14. St. John's is a mediocre team, ranked #50. Duncanville beat them, but so did four other teams including MD, which blew them out 53-24.
Last year was a defensive battle between both teams but this year a battle of the offense and Bosco just had too many weapons to choose from. Plus DJ/Kris were not going to walk out of that field empty handed after last year's loss.
Dam.. Honestly, I felt it when I saw 73 with his helmit off casually "shouting:" Who's got my back?" *They weren't hungry.* Nice cap to a week of upsets... Except DVille won. Props to Bosco.. Excellent strategy. You *earned* it!
Was at the game that shit was crazy. I was thinking I was going to leave early when it was 28-5. MD thought they won the game and got way overconfident. When Bosco started to come back MD got tight. Those receivers dropped more passes yesterday then they had all year combined, with all that said they had the ball down by 5 with 2 minutes left at the 14. That's all you can ask for. Great way to fight Bosco most teams quit losing like that.
@Goatbe Bryant I only saw like the last 8min of the 2nd quarter on some bs Twitter stream a guy was just filming his TV with his phone lmao it was like 2am at halftime for me
MD fans trolled Duncanville videos all year. Now take a slice of this humble pie and get it together next year. Still an amazing team do I’ll never take that from them.
Callum Stark they lost to Bosco last year too in the regular season 41-18 but I get what your saying. Unless we play each other we’ll debate til the moon comes still two great teams nonetheless
Trust that Duncanville doesn't need certification from SoCal fans to matter to anyone. Especially in football. Y'all can regurgitate that no travel talk, but let's see the real Santa Ana kids go against the real Duncanville folk. Santa Ana is twice the size and will get bodied on every level. Duncanville, I mean Texas, still has the best competition. So keep that talk about not traveling and I'll keep telling you that you guys need to recruit top end players from the IE, OC, SD, and LA counties to be relevant. Either way, this was a great game for 2 great recruiting high schools
@@gpgopher265 yeah dville had real tough comp that last game fucking 50-17 and it's like 3 rounds into your playoffs. Only hard region is the one with Katy and northshore, everything else weak
Anthony Galeano Bro we’re a PUBLIC SCHOOL ranked #3 in the nation you sound stupid af not one person on duncanville is a recruit and we’re still ranked amongst SoCal and Florida schools alike stop it bro this is natural talent. And I actually graduated and played for Duncanville I’m not some fan that hops to different teams like “SoCal” rep your actual alumni I bet there garbage too
They say it's hard to beat the same team twice in a season. Bosco repays MD the favor from 2018. It will be interesting how this shakes out for Bosco and MD come transfer season in 2020. Bosco needs a solid QB plus another McGrew-level RB to go over the top next year.
Callum Stark Bosco has a core of RB who were all sophomores this year. They were all playing while Sandbeast(#24) was slowly getting back to playing. They had #21 (who had a good amount of reps even in the championship), #20 ( not sure if he played in the championship but he definitely played a good amount throughout the season) and #28 who got injured in the middle of the season. Plus they have a promising freshman who looks pretty good and might be a little bigger than the rest of the sophomores who will be juniors next year. All their RB sophmores were pretty small but super quick. I look forward to their development. They have a good freshman QB who will battle for the top spot against a sophmore QB they had in JV. I think Bosco the biggest need for development will be at tge DB positions. Their losing their safeties and two corner/nickelback. They have #8 who's sophomore and played the game but other than that, I don't know who will actually get to play next year. D-line, LB's and O-line is already stacked with underclassmen. #36 had a monster game and he's only a sophomore. I see their o-line, d-line, and LB's being Bosco's strength next year. They have great receivers coming back next year too. Beaux Collins and Jode McDuffie will be seniors. Chedon James and Jaceon Doss will probably be getting some good minutes at WR as a Juniors. I will favor Bosco to win again next year if they can develop a QB. It won't be another DJ but someone who can replace him in a decent way.
@@humbledservant9693 that's not bad I'm sure they can get a transfer or two for the D, and I thought Collins was a Sr also so atleast the QB will have someone to throw to. I've heard MD is trying to grab the Narbonne QB Garcia for his sr year
