Im just happy those E St Louis kids got to travel & get out of that enviornment & see that theres alot of other places in the world to see. They had a phenom Jaylon Mckenzie who would have been on the field for E St Louis tonight but he was murdered in 2019 @ 14 yrs old. Great game to both teams. E St Louis will go back to Illinois & probably win their 10th state title. They have the most wins in Illinois hs football History. I was a California kid that had to move out to the Illinois side of St.Louis my Junior year due to my parents military obligations some of my best friends in life are from E.St.Louis.. Overall its a city of good hardworking ppl & they all treated me like family. Much love everyone

To see kids from East St.Louis IL a place most would be scared to even drive through, to show up & compete with a team like Bosco & have multiple chances to win is incredible. Illinois football don’t get enough credit. ESL, Mount Carmel, St.Rita, Loyola, Cary-Grove, Montini, Sacred Heart Griffin, Crete-Monee, Batavia all produce some athletes!

E STL is by far one of the meanest places in the country. They got federal grants to get the police cars working radios because theirs were broken

Bosco leading 35 to nothing the players just let their guards down that's all. They stopped playing with the intensity that got the score to 35 to nothing. Also you had 2 turnovers that lead to scores for St Louis.

The man gave his opinion. Why is it so important to reply to everyone’s comments that feel like we (ESL) could have pulled off the W? We’re you at the game? I was; just got back home. After the game, Bosco fans even said that game could have gone either way. Bosco didn’t put in 2nd string; you’re goofy for even considering that when we were within 9 points in the 4th. We missed opportunities, when Bosco made some big plays along with questionable officiating. The DBs were riding LB3 (number1 receiver in the country) the entire night with no pass interference calls. But, that’s okay, although a top program shouldn’t need the officials helping them out. When the first quarter ended 0-0, the officials went to work.

How there you. Saint John Bosco and mater- dai take all of the best talent out of the greater LA area which Is way bigger than Miami.. Miami central is closer to Saint Thomas out of Broward County then John Bosco is to Is mater-day. Miami central has to share with American heritage. Saint thomas. Northwestern. .. chaminade. Carol City. Dillard. Gibbons which all can be nationally ranked. South cali is limited with no competition .. You can't name me any of the school that is not in the greater LA area we're talking about.. I give credit to centennial.. But yours cali schools are so garbage that the public schools can't compete.... We don't know if Miami central is even going to go to state because of the competition they go against and the fact that that's not Miami central's best team...... When y’all coming back to Philly so y’all can come check out Imhotep Charter High. We got 7 dudes in the NFL. A bunch of kids in college at power 5 school and a few of them are first and second team all Americans. We also have a 5 ⭐️ DE number 1 in the state number 1 DE in the country 4th overall. We got the number player 5 ⭐️ in the 2023 class. We got about 8 power 5 comments, we also beat up on Damatha a week ago.

Looks like Bosco is a first half team, I noticed that against Miami Central too.. Mater Dei and Servite will beat them. I like this EStl team. Make some adjustments on the offense and they will beat IMG.

So why did they play East St. Louis? Some of you all could stand to learn a little history 1) East St. Louis is a PUBLIC school. 2) ESL has won National Championships before there were academies and prep schools or even schools recruiting across their respective states. Those boys from Illinois are all from the same neighborhoods! Think about that. It's like that superstar team you all picked in backyard football growing up in the hood, going against damn near the Under Armour All-American team. That's crazy... Before De Le Salle was going on their 150 game win-streak. ESL was winning National Championships every 2 to 3 years. There's a lot of history and track record of success with that school. It was a showcasing of how High School football has evolved over the past 30 years. Old vs New. Respect to the ESL Flyers!

Y’all are really sleep on the talent Illinois has. Just this year alone according to 247 Sports, we have 3 of the top 10 WR recruits in the nation for the 2022 recruiting class. Also we have 7 players ranked inside the top 250 best football recruits in the nation. Compared to other states like Cali, Texas, and Florida that’s not a lot but we definitely have future NFL talents

I was at this game! St Louis left about 18 points on the board from drop easy TD pass in end-zone and on bosco 20 yard line all night but couldn't convert! St Louis Luther Burden #3 was just a beast! Had his way all night!

Bosco left 14pts in the first half as well. Sloppy play by Bosco and they still was up 35 to zero in the 3rd qtr so there's no confusion who the better team was bro. Be real dawg, Bosco on another level. ESL got talent but they can't match up for a whole game vs a Bosco or Mater Dei.
