The most beautiful sight in the world is that tanker dropping down out of the sky to drop retardant. They came right over my house back in 2011 fighting the Tri-County fire near me (north of Houston). They had just come off the Bastrop fire.

What are the parameters for low light drops? I live in AZ and have a tanker base in our town. They don't seem to fly at dawn or dusk.

😢 Watching them throw a [little] powder and a few drops of water looks hopeless. They are brave men and women and may they be filled with God's spirit to continue working hard but seeing the size of the fire and watching them throw water on it... It's like having an out-of-control grease fire and try to put out the fire with a water spray bottle. Weren't we told in science class not to throw water on fire when it becomes out of control because it'll do the opposite of the intended action? Why aren't scientific minds coming up with better ways to fight fires than spending billions to go to the moon, a rock, that isn't helping anyone and much less these problems on earth? 🌎🔥🔥🔥🔥 *These environmental issues will not pause.* They will continue to increase with climate change being upside-down and still no one has done a damn thing. _This planet is doomed._ Men are only interested in themselves, power, and keeping the poor in poverty and say: “THE HELL WITH EARTH!” Well, the earth is now a living hell with earthquakes in one place and another, floods haven't stopped, storms, tornadoes, and climate crises have continued and these calamities unfortunately, will increase until the end comes.
