Aussie Bass on fly are one of my all time favourite species to chase, but most often I fish for them on the coastal streams and rivers out of a boat or kayak. Today my mate Paul Albery took me for a hike in to one of his local Blue Mountains streams, and it was such an eye opener! Paul absolutely brained some big bass on streamers in crystal clear water, a very different style of bass fishing to my usual spots. This has to be one of the most beautiful rivers I have fished anywhere, who would have thought that we have such stunning rivers literally right on the outskirts of Sydney....
