but from what we hear here hydra is a monster, she got people to kill eachother cause she told them all they wanted to hear, (in this story) whether it was right or wrong so they would grow to resent anyone criticising or countering those points of interest.
@istoppedcaring6209 If you watch the episode, it was actually Tyrannis and his father Shulb fault. As Tyrannis told Camille the Hydra to basically tell people what they wanted to hear while his father asked the Hydra to send anonymous messages that made the situation worse because he didn't like that humans were basically obsessed with their "likes" among other things.

The studies that determined that the internet acts as an echo chamber has actually been falsified, social media actually forces you into ideas that are not your own more often than not to feel like everyone is turning against you which is where the problems arise. Human brains evolved to work together in small communities of like minded people and yo dislike those of other communities in order to survive, so human brains are literally not programmed to survive outside of a big echo chamber and the internet is the opposite of an echo chamber, which is why it’s so bad.
Also I’m not saying she is not the internet, she does represent social media, but it’s because she is the opposite of an echo chamber and spreading ideas throughout the people and forcing everyone to listen to what isn’t their own.
That was the second Futurama movie. Futurama The Beast with a billion backs. Although when the four movies were aired in syndication, they split each of the movies into four episodes each, which made sixteen episodes, which make up Season 5 for Futurama.
@@metaemperor Considering she says that telling everyone the truth made everyone want to kill each other, I think it's more specifically Twitter or Reddit but the internet part is still there.
I kind of wish that she didn't need to die the fact that she was willing to let herself die to allow them to achieve some form of character growth was amazing in my book. I really kind of feel like she could have been a great referring character but again let's not also forget her sacrifice so that the humans could grow
I haven't watched the show but she didn't die here. They explained in the beginning of the short that her heads grow back. The pruning was symbolic of cutting off the internet
Reminds me of the False Hydra from DnD except less horrifying, mostly with how all the heads have spread throughout the village. Just so you know, a False Hydra is a multi headed creature like a hydra that deletes you from all loving memory when it eats you, so you might as well not even exist afterwards. In a village, it eats like half the people there, and they don't even realize there is a problem, that they never had a mayor, that this little girl never had parents, that it was always just this one last person in the village. Until there were none, and nobody remembers there was even a village there to begin with. It doesn't affect anything physical, like books about a place, or momentos that mean nothing now. A very creepy creature.
False Hydra: A living embodiment of gaslighting. (Hypothetically, carrying a domesticated pet one around with you could offer a marvelous stealth option. Guard notices you? Quickly dispatch and feed it to your false hydra - that guard never existed, this was an undefended corridor, you go about your business undetected)
Cursed Legendary homebrew item- Tongue ring of false hydra: Gives you the ability to shout the false hydra song but as a catch, anyone or anything you consume, gets forgotten about by the entire realm. Eating some carrots, the realm forgets that carrots exist and is removed from all menus.....did you just drink a health potion? Everyone forgets how to make one or that such a thing ever existed.

This is a great lesson on the kind of therapy that you shouldn’t get. If a therapist doesn’t challenge you, affirms you’re always in the right, and/or insists it’s other people’s problem/fault, you have a bad therapist. They’re not a therapist, they’re a “yes man.” Idk if they just want to be liked or just want to keep you coming back, so they can keep billing you, but they’re not good for you.
I'm assuming that they just took that head cluster as proof of "killing" her and then let her live with a few less bonus heads. Edit: Yes I KNOW Hydras grow their heads back. Unless you're in Dark Souls for some reason.
@@DGneoseeker1no, when you cut a hydras head off it grows back with another. I believe that since they cut off her neck at the base it would just grow back two heads.
Wow. It looks like it's going to do something interesting, but then does the most cliche thing ever. It really does show: humans are garbage, they know they're garbage, but they don't care.
Name of show: The show is Krapopolis and is made by the creators of Rick and Morty. Rated 14+, but has gore, profanity and mentions of s3x. My info is from Google, not experience. (The edit was just “Name of show:”)
A review I found on Google states “The final moments of the episode see Stupendous finally facing off against Camille [the hydra], although their friendship still remains.”- Arnav Srivastava
@fupoflapo2386 But those captions really do look weird, for example: some of the words are yellow for no reason, and texts are overlapping each other.
Hate how the hydra is always portrayed as having multiple heads growing back after one gets cut off but in the original myth the hydra only regrows one and it has an immortal head you need to cut off to kill it, and yet somehow even in STORIES SET IN GREEK MYTHOLOGY it regrows multiple
Yeah is as if almost nobody reads books anymore how sad, but just wait 30 years more and everybody here will be buying books and read them once the earth has run out of helium for the microchips that their cellphones and notebooks use.

"not at all unless that's what you going for" so she is not honest not to "hurt" others. This behavior is a problem because it does more harm than good. Honesty leads to realization and that leads to know what we should do.
