The biker was blaming the guy in the van revving his bike and the woman that caused it never got blamed. Then the biker at the end of the convo says I just like to going fast lol
Sorry, but the second guy was in the wrong. If he was obeying the rules of the road, he would've been behind the Audi. He rode straight out and into the second lane. The correct way would be to ride out into the left lane and then indicate to move into the second lane - just like the Audi driver did.
I want to have a beer with the first two guys. They were both angry, talked it out, laughed it off and went on with there days. That's how you handle situations like that
2nd bike rider is in the wrong, he's the one pulling right into the middle lane and the Audi is blinking! why not roll off the throttle a bit give him/her space and move over yourself in the next lane, and not argue instead concentrate on traffic. When you commute those situations happens all the time. We are all in the same traffic, don't go after every incident not worth it ;)

Yeah, you have to go with the flow a bit. Anticipate what other drivers might do. Be a bit forgiving when they are less than perfect. I bet those riders have done dumb things on their bikes at times. There's no point riding around getting angry every two minutes.
Some riders really lack driving intelligence... you brake instead of revbombing. If a car didn't see you it's way better to stay save and then point out that somebody fucked up. Or you could help the guy struggling to park his car for e few seconds instead of just using your phone and get mad after. People make mistakes but it's everyones duty to take preventive actions. This sickens me so much.
I checked my bike, and there's this funny little lever on the right near the foot. You wouldn't believe it, it operates the back brake! so now I can revbomb AND brake at the same time. Try it out, I swear it works lmfao
was just thinking this exact same thing. in fact about 2 weeks ago i had a woman parallel parking just the same as the 8 min mark. guess what, i gave her hand gestures to let her know how close she was and helped her park. she got out and thanked me and we both went on with our day just that little bit happier.
Joeger - I can see what you mean but as common sense goes the driver being in a left hand turn only lane puts him in the wrong as I don't have to give up my right of way to let you into the lane
Legend 27, you don't have to give up your right of way, but it's nice to let people in. Maybe they will return the favor some day. It's just common courtesy. The biker should have anticipated that the driver would need to move in his lane to get past the broken down / parked car in her lane. Closing the gap was just dumb and obnoxious.
yeah for sure its courtesy to let them in but that lane was a left hand turn only, there was no straight through in that lane. That car was just being impatient and so the biker did it back.

TheRealDeal they cut him off on the roundabout, its give way to the right, not the left, the car should've given way to the biker, he revved so they would either stop or get out of the way faster, if he had hit them, he didn't rear end them, he probably would have hit the rear wheel arch panel, not the back bumper. He was in the right. Not them.

Gotta love the guy at 2:48. Behind a responsible driver and wants to be the clown that turns out behind her and jumps right into the outside lane. Pretty sure you have to remain in the curb lane until the other lane becomes safe to enter, you just cant jump across a lane of traffic from a side road and then turn into the second lane over. Then to try and tell the woman off like he's in the right. See that blinking thing on the back side of her car? Yeah? Thats an indicator telling you she is making the legal maneuvers to change lanes. This guy on the bike is just a lil sissy thinking he owns the road and the laws are for everyone else besides him.

Nope, try again. The car was behind the stop line when the bike was maybe a car's length away. Car never stopped or looked and pulled out right in front of the biker.
Really don't think second clip has anything to complain about. Yeah he got more or less cut off, but you have to expect that to happen when you skip a lane during your turn.
I suspect the auto generated subtitles in the clip with the older gentleman having trouble parking in a spot the size of a bus weren't working very well. Either that or they were really having a passionate discussion about cinnamon and Sinatra
At 5:33 loads of time to see the guy was indicating and to just be courteous and let him in. Bad call. Don't tell me the biker wouldn't do the same to get into a lane.
But it's called courtesy for a reason, right? One can choose to be polite or respectful, but does not have to be. It's not mandatory like we have to stop for a red light or something like that. Same thing during the time in which you take a road test. If the examiner tells you to switch to the next lane, you can't just turn on the indicator and expect to merge like that. You have to check and look, see if the driver in the other lane would let you in or not. You can't assume the other person is ok just because there is enough space. That space is usually reserved for safe distance between cars. Fk sorry I rambled on here but we can't tell the other guy to be courteous or not. The fact is simple. The merging vehicle has to be careful and not endanger other people's lives. If it were me and I saw the rider in the other lane, I would have stopped behind that blue car that was parked there and wait for a safe gap, then merge in.
If you want to talk about courtesy, the driver should have made the left when he was in a left turn only lane and not thrown his blinker on to just cut someone off due to his mistake.
i just checked the video again, there was enough space as soon as the driver turned on his indicator. The problem is, he waited too long to merge and by that point the rider had already closed in the gap. The driver had to merge at the last moment which made this whole situation unsafe. I said this already but I ll say this again, if I were the driver, I would ve stopped behind the blue car that is parked there and wait for another safe gap to merge - especially when I saw the rider and knew he's more vulnerable.
Charlie Whisky but this is the problem, he may have taken his time but he was indicating so why would the biker close up the gap. That was just an attempt to make it a big deal than anything. You know this goes on a lot, you try to move in a lane and someone will put their foot down to create something out of nothing. Same thing when you overtake someone, they usually speed up because they don't like it. That kind of thing.
Ridiculous. I've been riding for over 25 years. You have to "expect" cagers to not pay attention and give yourself enough room to 'avoid' a situation. 2:48 I think the biker was in the wrong. He pulled directly to the middle lane while she did the right thing and turned to the left lane and merged to the middle. Secondly, he was indeed behind her and she did appear to look to make sure it was safe to change lanes which it was at the time she turned on her turn signals. Turn signals is not asking for space, it’s signalling intention to do so and he should have yielded. Different story if she was beside him and almost ran him off the lane.

2nd clip the biker was in the wrong. Here in the US, you are requried to turn into the first lane when making a right ( or in this case a left). Car went to the first lane and biker went to the second lane right off the turn. Biker needs to quit crying and starting learning the rules of the road first before he gets pissed at a vehicle for fowling the rules
The last guy was overreacting a bit. I understand being concerned about it, but the dude was backing up super carefully. He could see the bike. I've gotten within inches of parked cars in order to straighten out properly, ya never hit them, but if anybody was sitting in the car they'd get scared I would.
I hate how most bikers have an attitude like they’re better than everyone else. Like someone changes lanes and they get mad start flicking them off revving their engine saying the car cut them off. They over react to the smallest situations
