Generally I find Filipina woman more attractive (until they get older) than Thai woman that stay in better shape. Damo is definitely an exception imo. She is gorgeous !

Find a store that will make it for you! Probably won't even cost much extra, like that store sewing their own in back might welcome something new to do.
I was hunting for football kits in the Philippines for my 14 year old son, in the Filipino stores in Cebu, problem I found wasn't cost related, it was sizes, he's 6ft tall 😂 my fiance said "why not get him trainers too for basketball!?", not a chance he's a UK size 12.5, ended up going to the Nike store and paying just slightly less than Irish prices
Yes as you found out, in the tourist cities you have to find where the locals shop. Like you i live out in the country about 45 minutes from Prachinburi, so I've gotten used to smaller village prices. Thus rarely buy anything when we go to the bigger cities and tourist cities like Bangkok, Pattaya and Chiang Mai. However i do know that shop you eventually found in Chiang Mai and my wife has picked up a few things there before as well as from a nice small booth just on the outside. Hope your trip home goes smoothly.
We continue to watch due to the sheer fear you are displaying if failure does happen. Don't overthink mate. Go with the flow. You would go to the ends of the earth for your family, that is all that comes through.
Could you get clothes made in a day or two and just pay the extra? You should of get her a dish brush and put a bow on it, or a potato. See if would believe its the only thing you got her.

Out of curiosity, is it not possible to find someone who can custom make a dress (or a hat), per a desired design & material, and to your exact size & specifications, for a reasonable price & turnaround time? Seems like you had no problem finding folks who could custom build your house, and at a great price. I would think that getting a custom-designed dress (or hat) made would be even easier, in Thailand. Nice vlog, btw - I really enjoyed watching this one! :)

You're taking the train to Bangkok, not straight to Buriram. You could always check the area around Platinum mall in Pratunam in central Bangkok. Pretty sure you can find everything there clothes-wise - admittedly, it's like Chatuchak in that if you see something you want, don't just assume you'll be able to find the same store later on.

I remember the night Bazaar from 25 years ago when there were no big roads and hotels around it just stalls and some shacks that served as bars. While you are there you might enjoy a walk down the Ping River. There used to be some great restaurants and bars where you sit overlooking the water.

Hard to believe the timing of the mud. I was on Changklan two weeks ago and there was a light drizzle. Less than a week ago the area you walked in this video was under water and mud. They sure get back to business quick

Great and funny relatable content Ryan. Brings back memories of me doing similar shopping in rhe same markets but with my Thai wife in 2022. Even she struggled to find what she was looking for so you had no chance😂😂. Many times I have looked for an easy to get item at home here in Australia and get used to the many Mai me's in Thai Wasadu but struggle with "Mai me, don't care" because it's too hard when I don't speak Thai. Also many times helpfully sent to another shop when they really don't know but help to be kind. Great info and so spot on with the different prices. 👍👍
