This is the second fly in our volume, Stupid Simple Flies. This pattern was brought to my attention by a guy who loves shad fishing! We just call it the Shad Jig. There are unlimited variations of this pattern you can use. From a straight shank hook, to marabou tail, to petite estaz, you can create a variation of this fly and fish for almost anything!
