What is Smule Styles and what is the Style Studio App from Smule?
I explain to you what you can do with it and I will let you know in a little rant / explanation why I don't really like it all too much.
It was hard to stop myself at times :D

When you said instead of fixing problems they give us stuff we don't ask for- I felt that! It seems to me that a lot of their replies to paying members are more of a "we know you didn't want this, but we worked really hard so its staying"

I agree 100%. I gave styles a shot, but in the end it was a waste of my time bc the OC sounded like crap. I deleted it. I’d rather spend more time singing, less time messing with styles. @AvocadoDonna

I agree I contacted Smule there they said this is what people wanted no one I ever talked about it sometimes sounds lousy

I agree with you, but keep in mind most people on smule are probably kids and teens and other apps like tiktok i.e. are successful with those features, so smule wants to go with the trends

@@elissa882 Open Call. When I create the first half of the duet, I create an Open Call. It’s og terminology. I’m curious: What noun do you use when you open a song for people to join? 😊

Quick question, i don't know if you know the answer but if we pin a collaboration to our profile or take it off does it notify the person we collabed with? I want to rotate the pinned recording between my favourites.

Hi, no it doesn't notify anyone. It won't show to the other person unless they see your profile and it's not there anymore. Same with when you pin a new song, it won't notify anyone

Wait how can I make it where my duet partner and I are in sync when it comes to singing? My duet partner is always 1-2 seconds behind me.. 🥺

Hi, do you mean on live jams? Or on OCs? If it's a simple duet then it's either you or him who have to adjust it, if you're both or just one of you an android user you can do that. If you're an iPhone user then ask support@smule.com

Unfortunately the messaging feature on smule is very slow. But they do open eventually , right?

Hi brother i have an issue in smule,not only for me,but for maximum people in smule whoever doing a group song,,i did agroup invite from my ID.The issue is some other guy has joined the song and spoiled it,but am unable to del that particular join,,smule really sucks bro, because being an international app they are not even providing a simple delete option from the inviter side,, really its a discussting one,, Could you help me regarding this issue,,??

Hey man, Seems like you had a group song invite public for anyone to join. I know, smule unfortunately doesn't have a better solution, but if I can suggest that for group songs try to keep the private and only invite people you want to join on the song. For now, if you can reach out to that person and ask to hide their layer might be the only way to save that song. If he doesn't want to or you can't reach them, you might wanna reopen the song unfortunately. Sorry man

Are there any other free apps for singers that can't sing in front of others? Like a vocal coach with tips and exercises..

Similar apps to Smule would be starmaker or any other karaoke app. Bandlab is nice to create your own music and work on a song like in a studio

Not if you already saved the song. But if it's a group song, and you added a layer, you can hide your layers by clicking the three dots on the song and press "hide"

How to retrieve deleted songs from Smule?

I believe there is no way. My song was once deleted and I messaged support@smule.com directly and they said there was no way of getting it back

Android unfortunately tends to underperform in some phones and do kinda well with others. But they don't have all the same features that the iPhone offers for smule. I used to sing a lot on Android though and I was happy with the sound at least

Oh and you have to have an apple product to be able to use style studio ... leaves all of the android users out. "they're working on it"

The cheapest for both android and Apple is to get the subscription through the web at www.smule.com, there it's way cheaper than in the app or play store and it can be used for both Apple or Android

I was very much happy with the previous one. They have ruined this singing app with these useless styles. I loved petra the most, but now its gone. Everything has gone. Every day i see new styles. I am done with this app now.

I don't know what happens in Smule. It looks like self sabotage. Yes they are a commercial business but they are losing money by complicating the app that way. Many friends of my vips users haven't renewed their subscription and new users don't want to know about these complicated things. They want to join Smule and sing. They don't want to be a sound engineer or work in a studio.
