Love the Hobbs black belt in that outfit: it pulls everything together. The blue outfit is fabulous: smart casual! It takes jeans to a whole other level. I love winter white outfits! The blouse adds some sparkle with the detailing. I think the snake-effect pumps are a genius idea! The Valentine outfit is wonderful on you - I would always think of red for Valentine's Day, but the beiges and creams are so romantic and soft. It's not a palette I am very familiar with in my wardrobe, so I love to see what other people do with it. The green and tweed outfit is very countryside, very equestrian-inspired! I guess I would wear a tweed coat with green silk, as a scarf or blouse and I think the combination is awesome. I agree about silk blouses: versatile, durable, classic and classy! A monochrome outfit with silk in it doesn't look dull or overwhelming, because of the sheen and texture of silk. I absolutely adore silk blouses. They feel wonderful against my skin. I really like them paired with one of my leather jackets but they go well with so many things. I also love a silk camisole with some very good lace details.
I bought and received my 2 Lilysilk blouses ( black and white) and I am so pleased! The button detail is so beautiful, I just can't wait to wear it, even as a little jacket. I love silk as a natural fabric it goes so well with other natural texture like wool and leather ... Everything with leather for me ! A lavaliière blouse and moto jacket is stunning too, especially in a pop color, skinny black jeans and well-chosen (shaky:twisty) = reptile skin in the right color) pumps !

So glad bootcut jeans are coming back into fashion. Far more flattering. I love my biker jacket over a smart blouse, gives the outfit an edge! The nude skirt and blouse was my favourite. Probably because I'm a natural redhead and all that black -which looks good on you- is too harsh against my light skin tone.

Marie, I loved this video. It is so helpful in my journey to dress more feminine. A year or so ago, I asked about silk bring warm as I am always cold. I also live in a suburb of Chicago it is 10 degrees this morning. I did start purchasing silk camisoles from lily silk and I love them! I also started looking into silk in scarves. Lovely! So here is my next cold question 😬. How do you wear a silk blouse in extremely cold weather ? Just around the house is the blouse cold? I guess the word I am looking for is cozy. Ma chere Marie-Anne, I had a real hard time trying to choose a favorite outfit. At the end I just couldn’t. All of them were different and so chic and elegant, not to mention flattering that it’s impossible not loving them all. Silk has a magic that no other fabric has. I still miss my silk shirt despite I had to discard it more than 20 years ago. So far I haven’t found one. Why does male market has to be so boring and restrained? Well, I’ll keep searching. Bonjour Marie-Anne! I thought the outfits were all superb on you. The addition of the shiny belt on the black outfit was very smart. You look so edgy in that outfit with that haircut! I loved it on you. They were all perfect for different situations. You have the same colouring as me but you can rock the creams and beiges. I’d love to wear some softer colours next to my face and more pastels but I would look washed out unless I added a black or navy jacket. How do you manage that? I really like the green silk blouse as well. And it looked wonderful on you! For some reason, although I have green eyes and really like green, I don't have much currently in that color. Basically a blue green long cardigan and some green cords, which I don't wear together. Trying to imagine the green with my skirts, but maybe I should just be thinking, it would go with jeans and black trousers, so that's enough to justify a wonderful emerald green silk blouse. As you said, everything in the outfit probably should not be green. Then there would the leprechaun or the Jolly Green Giant effect.😁
I love silk blouses and I still remember when I bought my first one with my very first paycheck. It was black, of course, and cost me £19.00 an absolute fortune over 50 years ago. That shirt lasted for over 20 yrs though as good quality always will

As for the label on the blouse I simply cannot remember but the store may have been Dorothy Perkins? I've been gone from Scotland for 40 years and I live in the USA. I like the idea of not having to wear black, red or any dark color to go to dinner especially on Valentine’s Day. I haven’t purchased any silk shirts yet because of my health/weight loss journey, but I ordered a scarf from LilySilk. It’s beautiful! The order came quickly and the packaging was lovely. Hi I live in Normandie also and enjoy your videos. I do notice that many of your links connect to American websites and wondered if you purchase all of your clothes online from overseas, or if you generally just link American sites because most of your viewers comes from the States. Cherbourg is not a very big hub for elegant clothing so it's hard to find good clothing near home. Do you find that ordering online works well for you?
I liked the blue and the nude/camel because those are my colors. I wish Lilysilk would make that pinstripe white blouse in a nude or at least a soft, warm cream or ivory. I cannot wear stark white. I noticed several other items on their website where I liked the style but they only had bright white.

Love all the outfits today you look so elegant with an edge. I can put together all of them except the last one - this shade of green is not me - my daughter and mother who are not too different in colouring to me can carry green, it makes me look sick unfortunately.
first look : here is my suggestion : I would lower the style to casual to go to work with : a thin leopard print belt, ( made of leather cow hair if you see what I mean = cuir en poil de veau imprimé léopard), a tighter pair of black jeans, and ankle suede dark beige boots, with heels .... love heels ! and a black leather rectangle carry hand bag

Then, I wish I could complete the look with the leopard belt which I have not found yet --- the one I wish for. If you have a tip, Marie-Anne, please feel free to indicate sites where we can find belts with a size 70-75, because I can't find my dream belt ! Finally, if i were as tall and beautiful as a model as you are, Marie-Anne I would love to share it with you but I am extremely petite in a size 34, so you can imagine the effect in front of a camera, where being lean and tall like you is a must. In addition, I don't have the hand for making up !! What a disaster ! My forte is a high creative spirit which I like to transfer in putting clothes together, as a daily necessity and fun expression of my moods, my energy and so thick and curly hair...

It's a bit disheartening seeing these outfits with beautiful silk blouses that the fashion industry has decided tall women do not deserve. Shopping in general is hard enough for tall women but I have yet to find a silk blouse that acknowledges that tall women exist. I am 6 feet (182.8 cm) tall and need extra length in the sleeves and torso without a lot of bulk in the chest. If anybody knows where tall women can buy quality clothing, please advise!
