Fall is here, and what is fall without Dr. Martens boots?! Docs are definitely all-season boots, but I particularly love them in the fall.
There are a variety of leather options for the OG 1460s - I have them in Pascal Virginia leather and I love that they were comfortable right out of the box. Not down for that painful and blistery break-in period. Nope. I also prefer the matte black style, and I like that these contour against my feet for a more modern and clean look.

@@AngelTrazo Thank you ❤️!! I actually considered selling the rust orange to get a more neutral colour haha, but I decided to keep it since my wardrobe is pretty neutral already, and it does add such a nice cozy autumn vibe 🍂

I agree with the matte and non smoothness of the pascal boot. If I buy I leather boot, I want it to LOOK like a leather boot. The only downside for me is that the ankle is very thin and flimsy, and I heard that the pascal doesn’t really have a structure compared to the Smooth Leather, but the way they look on you, I think these would be an exception 🥰 I really want to get these

Hello, how durable is 1490 Virginia leather? Is it gonna last for 10 + years too? I'm really thinking of buying this or the 1490 vintage made in England.. need your input. 💟 THANKS💟 it's the second time I'm buying dms and I wanna make sure it's worth every penny. My old 1460 cherry is still in great shape. Bought it in England in 2011..

I’ve had them for a year but haven’t worn them too much. The leather isn’t sturdy, it’s soft so it wraps against your skin. They’re like this out of the box so you’d have to try them yourself to see!

I tried them on at the store and I’m usually a size 4 but had to size up to a 5

It's hard to say. Dr. Marten recommends sizing down if you're in between sizes. I'm a size 6 and the 6 fits like a 6.5 - I wear thicker insoles and it works. So the 6 might just fit and not give you enough wiggle room, but the 7 might feel like a full size up. Because they don't do half sizes their sizing doesn't work for everyone's feet. Good luck! 🤞

Hey Erika! I’ve only had them for a couple years, but the leather on the Pascal Virginia is very soft and movable and doesn’t have much structure to begin with.

I would get your normal size, I’m a true size 6 but these boots are a bit loose. Since they don’t come in half sizes I wear them with insoles and they’re perfect!

I’m normally my usual size on all shoes but on these Pascal ones I had to size down, I compared the soles with other pascals I had and indeed these come a bit big, so I recommend you size down lol

Yes! I think most docs are, they always list both the men's and women's size.

No, I took my regular size. They naturally fit roughly 1/2 a size bigger.
