I passed my childcare qualification in July, with flying colours, then started a new, full-time job in a micro-crèche as a childcare professional! My colleagues and boss are phenomenal, the children and parents are great, plus it’s not too far away and I am just sooooo happy to go to work!

So thrilled that life is so wonderful for you…you’ve had some downs, but they make the ups so much sweeter. You (and Adam) have done such lovely improvements to the house, a book of before and after would be such a lovely memory. And for your trip to Boston and New England…I lived there for nine years as a child and still have family there. It’s such a glorious part of the country. Anyway, for several of my trips I have made books using Shutterfly and it’s such an amazing way to capture those memories without having to scroll thru the camera. I don’t mean to be dramatic but the six of crows duology changed my life. I went through a really hard family loss unexpectedly during the same time I was reading the second book. The relationships and world just helped me get through my own reality and will forever be near and dear to my heart.

As a New England girlie (Grandparents and Dad in Massachusetts and I grew up in Vermont) you are hitting all the big things and spots that are New England. I hope the leaves were okay for you when you went. But if not you got to experience stick season (the season between fall and winter when the leaves have fallen). I hope you loved it. Also so surreal you know what leaf peeping is 😂.

Girl, you need airtags for your keys and wallets etc! They are life savers!!

Hey! I use to be an anxious flyer, now when i fly i take "calms" which are a natual relaxant for anxiety, you can get them from any pharmacy/super market i think and i really rate them. Takes the edge off, youre able to just exist without worrying and helps stop any anxiety or irritation so i would really recomend! Great for all anxious scenerios aswell so you do get your moneys worth if you get a little tub of the stuff xoxo

Hi Lucy, if you are becoming anxious about flying don't ignore how you feel, my husband became a very anxious flyer over several years and consequently we haven't flown for over 20 years, that is until 2 weeks ago. About 4 months ago my husband suddenly said he would like to attend a fear of flying course as there are places we both would like to visit but would take too long to get to by train or cruise ship. I booked us both on the BA Flying with Confidence course at Heathrow. We attended the Primary Plus course as it only has 10 people on the course and learnt so much that day, not only about how that monster gets up in the air and stays there, about turbulence, lightning storms, what happens in an emergency, basically anything that could trouble you. We were treated with respect and no question was too much trouble to answer. The afternoon session was with a psychologist and she explained what causes anxious thoughts, how to cope with them and we were taken through exercises to help us cope in stressful situations not just when flying. Then we were taken on a 30 minute flight down to Southampton, round the coast and back over London. A pilot explained what every noise and bump was during the flight and how normal they are. If you are becoming anxious now about flying nip it in the bud and attend one of these courses you won't regret it xx

Love the new bookshelves and the new layout of your living room. I personally never like sitting with my back to a window so I love that the sofa now faces the window. Disco ball won't work in the alcove cos the cupboard doors will hit it. Maybe put it in your office? Hope you have a fab holiday and congrats to you both on your engagement.
