I’d rather they don’t do it live as there are dozens of better Styx songs, however they are and thankfully their new arrangement is 10x better than the wretched version on KWH.

@@squintyt4e_2 your channel, your rules. I just have to say, Yeah, NO. I'm not a bleeding heart Dennis fan, it's DECADES Later. My issue is the hypocrisy of playing THIS particular song, when there are so many others to choose from, Haven't we been here before? This song was a HUGE BITCH POINT for JY and Tommy, they hated it so much apparently. Playing it now is just tacky, cheap, and a bit sad. PS- The UK Still loves STYX, and we love this song. You can't separate the reality from the history. X-Belfast Fan. ❤️ PS - What's totally WTF up, Tommy is there playing this with the enthusiasm of someone who'd rather be dead for most of the time. Is this a messed up management direction/issue??? IDK? It's not pretty.😢

Agree I'd rather they not do it, many better still ngs, many. Haven't we been here before? Off KWH, they didn't play that when I saw them a few months ago. That would have been great! ❤❤❤😊 I don't find the arrangement different enough to qualify as actually Different. I'm not trying to mess with you personally, or the general fandom. I'm just trying to understand some big disparities in the spoken word and performance.Ivwas a Tommy fan from like 77. Crystal Ball, Boat on the River, those are my ace peace songs and always will be. I'm not understanding this song in the context, ok?😊❤😊

Because there are thousands of people who will now be going to see them because they are playing that particular song? 🙄 Please! It wasn’t the only reason for the band breaking up - it was a culmination of DDYs megalomania.

You couldn't be more on point. They crucified Dennis for writing this song and it's not even a good version of the song.

@@grgoldner megalomania? ha ha ha. Dennis was the principal arranger including Tommy's and JY's songs. They were the megalomaniacs. Used a democracy to steal the band. Everyone got an equal vote although Dennis was the guy who had an ear for music. There is your abuse of power. When John died so did Styx.

For like 25 years. I'm ok. Just don't do Roboto. All the hate from current band members to the man that wrote it was just freaking sad. (Biggest Global Hit???, yeah..) You can't spend years bitching about this song and just freaking go, ohhh, never mind and play it. It's NOT because DDY isn't there, not at all. It's the freaking VH1 Behind the music and other things where the complete hatred of KWH was said. Dudes, just play Haven't we been here before if you need to grab something from KWH. 😢

Tommy should go back to Damn Yankees. This version of Styx is nothing more than a cover band.
