Su-30SM at MAKS 2013 on a sunny day. Two-seater Su-30 with canards - the most beautiful of the Su-27 family. Piloted by father and son the Averianov - Vyacheslav and Eugeny. Too bad program not includes somersaults like in 2005.
Su-30SM is my favorite Russian Fighter Aircraft. At first glance, I fell in love of it. Wonderful aircraft. Combination of Beauty and Lethal ability. Two thumbs up for Sukhoi. Long live Russia !!!
Dude!!! This might be the best video i ever saw in my life!!! That landing make me cry like a 8 year old girl... 😭 Even aliens are jealous of that birds design. And a red star on wing is cherry on top! 😉 Great job 👍👍👍
This is one of the most versatile plans made; beautiful, stunning to watch. Russian pilots are among the best, they know every maneuver that shows off this plane's excellent functionality. One of the most beautiful planes flying today.
- Russia will can't sell these to us because the US would be pissed because security issues with needing to use Sukhoi's software - Interoperability problems with the rest of NATO/NORAD - Switching to Russian fighters from US fighters would be a logistical NIGHTMARE - Training pilots in using the Su-30, 34, 35 etc. would be difficult and inefficient as they would have to learn a completely new system - incompatible with our current military networks and data stuff As cool as it is, and how well it would suit Canada, it's unfortunately next to impossible to do.
@@DeNihility The SM, which was derived from Irkut's MKx series, actually use export-specific open software and MIL-STD-1553B compatible databus. India and Malaysia use a lot of NATO/European systems and datalink on their MKI/MKM respectively. MKI's Israeli systems is very similar to F-16/Mirage while MKM is prolly very similar to Gripen/Rafale, given its SAAB/Thales sensors and avionics. Hell the Malaysians even has Link16 and Paveway/JDAM on their Sukhois. given its open architecture, Canada is perfectly capable of license producing an ideal Irkut Flanker with western systems and engines but I'd imagine politics wouldn't allow it. Tbh though I'd rather just buy the F-35.
Such a beauty! A little history for the uninformed. This is a product of the Irkut R&D Su-30MKI, which is now in service in IAF. The reason VVS is now buying these machines, is due to the fact, the RuAF fleet is getting old. Its all part of a re-armament program that started 2010 and will run towards 2020, in order to ramp up newer platforms. The current orders on these jets are around 68 i think.
This is a freaking beautiful Aircraft. Many many moons ago Russian pilots of the Antonov Cargo plane were staying at our Millitary command center at Kempton Park, South Africa. We played tennis, basketball with them and interacted frequently. It was a pleasure knowing them. They were like our friends and our comrades. Members of our defense force were stil very young and in our late teens. They could not believe at first that we were members of our defence force and were soldiers due to our age 😳😁 I have known many Russians, Polish, Romanian people from the old era of communism that has deflected from their countries. Most of their experiences were heartbreaking. Imagine leaving your country and all that you know and go into the unknown 😔 I love all people, but soon in the time of war there will be enemies and friends. At the end of the day we are all human with friend, family and loved ones. War, decisions, actions, greed for power, wealth, tyranny makes no exceptions to anyone.
А Су-57 вообще НЛО! У нас собирают! Все авиастроители-молодцы,команда грамотных болеющих за своё дело профессионалов! Создающих лучшие в мире изделия семейства Су.
Looking at this amazing performance leads me to believe Russia is producing some of the best fighter planes in the world. I have no doubt the PAK FA will be a huge success. The US and its allies on the other hand are throwing money at Lockheed Martin who are failing at the F-35, that has recently stumbled across new software glitches in the gun system amongst many others. i doubt that aircraft will ever enter into serious production. That is the difference between Russia and the US, one is a government run for the interest of its people and national security and the second is a government easily lobbied to serve the interest of private military contractors.
Quote: The transmitter invisible plane can be hit with the same probability by a plane (and /or missile) which does not emit radar signals and is not invisible. Initially the cone (the solid angle) of RADAR beam is huge! The beam will scan with high probability (as a potential target) and the detector (the passive antenna) of the missile! And after that, hilarious, the RADAR beam will focus (by decreasing cone) on the missile. The RADAR himself will build on the detector of the missile an increasing signal - with a well-determined position of his! Position which, obviously, will be sought after by the missile. The air - surface systems of missiles exists. And there is also "the Russian Vympel R-27P. Such missiles have several advantages over other missile guidance techniques; they do not trigger radar warning receivers (conferring a measure of surprise), and they can have a longer range (since battery life of the seeker head is the limiting factor on the range of most active radar homing systems" - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-radiation_missile#Air-to-air If we put all these things together we find that something "is rotten in Denmark". It's obvious that "stealth" technology it's as expensive as useless this is. The Russians have remained behind on this issue in a natural way? By developing a type of missile that exploits just the specific weaknesses of this technology?! Too many coincidences! It seems more likely that the "enemies" soldiers to be shook hands over the heads of politicians (stealth technology is very expensive so very profitable). I would not be surprised if the money for PAK FA (which corresponds with this well directed scenario) to be paid by Americans taxpayers... PS - Now it is easy to explain why the Russians have tried so hard to develop super maneuvering aircrafts: because, in reality, it always gets to dogfights. I don’t want to be in the shouse of the pilots of F 22: they will not be able to shoot not a single missile without being already hit. As F 22 not really know how to fly, at dogfights (with closed RADAR) they go straight to death. But surely, their country will compensate their relatives for this loss...
Gabriel Pascu yes. Have you heard about the incident last year in the Black sea with USS Donald Cook and the Russian Su-24 that jammed and disabled the AEGIS system of the ship rendering it "blind". The Sukhoi performed mock simulated attacks on Donald Cook and the crew were shocked and frightened.
Aussie Serb Thank You! I forgot about that! Allow me to quote you for an individual (doceigen) that definitely supports the interested view of the US government. With a single objection: AEGIS system was not jammed. Just they have not seen (on their RADAR) the Russians (the explanation of the Americans being that they were jammed). In fact the Russians used a passive tracking system of the AEGIS (not RADAR, as explained above).
Aussie Serb I wish to return to the subject USS Donald Cook - Su 24. My statement (AEGIS was not jammed) seems inconsistent for some. I try to give more details: It's about the phenomenon of "resonance", on which are based all the relationships between electronic devices through electromagnetic field. Now: Imagine an ordinary Wheatstone bridge which on one of his arms had mounted a scanner that will resonate no with the output signal of a RADAR but with an intermediate signal, from inside. Determined by the resonance, the energy gain will unbalance the bridge. So, this energy will be send to another arm on which is mounted a motor for example. Electromagnetic energy obtained in addition, by resonance, will be transformed into mechanical work. That means that the insides signal of RADAR will not get back the lost energy. So he simply disappears. Thus, he will interrupt the loop (loops) from which was part. The RADAR simply will not work anymore. In short, not only that the Russian device emits nothing (is totally passive) but is the height of passivity: it sucks the energy. That is a stylish way to make "stealthy" some planes?! Absolutely! Now translate this kind of reasoning to aircraft engines. At one point, American's engines will stop in flight (while the Russian's will be more powerful without consuming fuel). How sounds that? Then, will be seen the real panic in America!
Gabriel Pascu You're right about the fuel consumption. . I do not understand why you think that the United States better advanced in the development of electronics than Russia ? You only have STELTH system who long time ago in collapse. Not important reason for blocking the radar on the destroyer Donald Cook. It is important to not function. He could destroy donald kuk only one Russian plane? It certainly was not a STELTH system ...
