Sukhoi Su-30 Flanker-C (Сухой Су-30) is a twin-engine, two-seat supermaneuverable fighter aircraft developed by Sukhoi. Sukhoi Su-30 Flanker-C is a multirole fighter aircraft for all-weather, air-to-air and air-to-surface interdiction missions.
Sukhoi Su-30 Flanker-C started out as an internal development project in the Sukhoi Su-27 family by Sukhoi.
Sukhoi Su-30SM is a specialised version of the thrust-vectoring Su-30MKI and MKM variants. The Sukhoi Su-30SM is considered as 4+ gen jet fighter.
Sukhoi Su-30SM of this video is for Russian Navy (Aviacija Voenno-Morskogo Flota Авиация Военно-Морского Флота) and was piloted by Sukhoi test pilot Vyacheslav Averyanov at MAKS 2015. The video was shooted on August 27th, 2015.

that's a very tight shot. if you get it more wide angle it would give an emphasis on the aircraft's super maneuverability and physics defying capabilities.

islam CL You dont have this russia sold you the su 30mka not the su 30sm which has a modernized radar bar r radar,new radar warning systems,IFF,new ejection seat,russian avionics,khibiny u etc.But yeah lets say you have an su 30 just not this russian version.

I made that video in 2015, now I use a camera with stabilizer :-) In any case follow a fast jet with a long focal lens is not so easy.

the only problem with this machines are the high RCS in comparison with western fighters, if russian can manage a way to reduce their RCS... these machines will continue rulling the skies...

Actually I was at Farnborough (UK) two years running. I witnessed Su 27 or Su 29 doing party tricks like cobras and standing on their tail. Great fun for the kids I thought, but in actual fact whilst you're prancing around like a ballerina, you'd be dead in five seconds.

Su 30 SM is the most maneuverable SU 30. But SU 35S is not the most maneuverable Flanker. Its actually the SU 30 SM because of the canard s and the SU 35s doesn't have canard.

It would be better if they only used them in airshows instead of invading sovereign nations. However, many analysts had doubts about the usefulness of these super maneuverability capabilities in warfare. Now I would say that we have all understood that Western manufactured missiles are ignorant and shoot them down anyway.
