my crazy friends described a band like a burger the, the top buns are the high brass they are pretty and sit on top of everything veggies are precussion they are the most imporant part of a great burger and there are lots of different types like with veggies. The baritones are the mustard they rise above everything from time to time they are spice. The trombones and tubes are the meat and they push the band this band is angus with tons of vetables. The woodwinds are spices that you season meat
@pgizzle09 hopefully i will be on the drumline playing snare. so funk factory better get ready. since i have a corps style back ground i can show tsu some stuff that funk factory would be suprised to see from a swac drumline but that's if funk train is open for new ideas from new comers

@TheDragonmaster18 Sure it does... lol We start practicing about three weeks b4 school starts so by the time the first game comes youve built up some endurance (and it keeps growing as they year progresses). Its just our style. We've always been known for our big sound and power. As far as u goin to TXSU... just go to school man. We'd love to have you here but get ur education bro. Youll be seeing us from across the field and its gonna hurt... lol
maybe woodwinds need to shine more...I know when we competed judges always wanted more from the horns....so maybe, that's what they are doing. The judges seemingly always wanted us at double f no matter what...
No offense to anyone that plays a woodwind instrument but after this im 100% sure that i choose the right instrument and didnt play saxophone like i planned to (no offense saxes) trumpets is really where its at omg
lmao becuz the crabs in SU's trumpet line can only just stand there while the upper class men throwin up they sign and grovin but it aint gone be funny when its my turn. Im still stuck between ASU or SU both got some fiya ass trumpets and both have my major.imma leave it in the hands of GOD though.Southern the truth!!
if i may i suggest that they shouldnot over do it at practice. they should lower their volume at practice to save their chops so that way at the game they would sound better than what they do. cause sometimes you can those terrible squeaks from the trumpets. but other than that they sound great
@nigelholland3 lol my friend be gettin mad wen i be havin my "scream" fest lol nd he be crankin on me lol but wen i get ahold of dat trombone(was gone say bone sounded gay imo) i be as loud as him minus the high notes lol... he be gettin mad jealous especially bcuz he carryin 3 nd a half trombones by himself nd i carry like 4 trumpet players its fun tho i love brass instruments mite switch to bariton this upcomon skool year

@Iplaypiccolo Maybe because they are Swac....Swac bands never have alot of Woodswinds and Swac are nothing but power before you crtizize a band about there style look them up..
