Motion did what we expected them to do. EAT! Dolls looked great and I loved their uniforms! I feel like the Dolls shine on the field, as far as stands, I’ve rarely been moved by them.
Now as y'all can see. Motion did SEVERAL REGULAR stand counts and altogether, and not full of stand routines, they did two only, so all this same "all they do is stand routines" EXCUSE can really chill, because you clearly see it. Dolls didn't do bad, Kyre is actually a good capt, its just the hiccups here and there with the squad (But they have been improving). Motion overall they just had IT this game.
Motion won... Can't beat their insyncness. They are so cleeeean. Dolls kept having timing issues... Another thing dolls do that throws off the timing is their sit down throws off the visuals sometimes when they sit after every 8 count. Try standing then sit down together. Idk my opinion
I don’t follow the dolls so I’ve always wondered if they ever just stand after a count. The constant sitting down after every count annoys me to no end.
Imagine Herb throwing counts to the same slower songs in SU’s book😍 Milk, presence, and sex appeal for days! I love me some Soi bean and Sydni is solid but Herb got my pick for capt in 2025! She will literally take our breathe away!
Let’s just keep it real…Motion is not afraid of creativity and going the extra mile. The dolls look amazing but they deserve better music. All this slow, funeral music SU plays isn’t fair to the dancers.
Motion is really good with their delivery and execution of their counts and they are so together however The dolls are just so poised their count selections for the music are perfect and they exude Class i can’t explain it Dolls ate

It was motion for me! The Dolls have lost their battle axe in the stands to me. They dance like we’re the Dolls whatever do you mean…battle? 😂 I’m not use to this many mistakes from them, like I’ve seen in the last few years.

I’m not a fan of Motions style of dance but they look great! Good job ladies. The Dolls style just does it for me. Milan Davis…I cannot wait to see season two. It is going to give me Herb. Dolls are dancing scared and safe to me. I need them to tap into their creativity as well and give me some new fast stands. I won’t tear anyone down though. I know how it feels performing I front of a crowd and everyone has an opinion. So I’ll just say great job to both teams!!!!!

Motion ate per usual! My dolls, Anytime Anyplace could have been Kyre’s doll moment but the team didn’t back her up. I think sometimes the girls get lost in the moment and it causes the hiccups. Previous years if they’re doing altogether and a captain throws a 16 count normally the Cap would do the next 8 count 3 times for them to catch up or like Gabby’s year she’d stop and start another 8 count for them to catch up. Not trying to make excuses, yes, the dolls should have caught the count Kyre was throwing regardless but idk maybe they don’t practice this enough. Kyre be in her own world though lol I just wish the team could back her up. The whole team straight up 🔥 tho
Dolls did OK but this wasnt even 100% for their own style. The constant formation calling is taking the energy down. In the time it takes to watch a few Dolls do a catch on 5-6 times, the music has changed/modulated and calls for something different. Especially on fast songs. Idk if somebody made a law for Dolls to no longer run uptempos as a squad but its lazy at this point. DT, Seaera Cole, April, Kayla Smith could bring their lines back from 2010-2013 and murk the current line on uptempos. It used to be a given that the Dolls could run a fast song on you. This irks my SOUL man. Love my Dolls but come on man. 😩
even with the altogether slow down it just surprised me over the years. Because lets say even if they didn't throw a fast altogether, you could pretty much always count on the dolls doing multiple slow or mid altogether in a game, now it's really a rarity now tbh which is one of the core parts of their style. Maybe some fast and slow altogether practice drills? IDK
Motion made them sea sick. And the Dolls - Anytime, Anyplace video is messed up because they cut out the part where the team messed up. Kyre threw a 16 after a 8 count and they got confused.

Idc how much people try to discredit the dolls. They looked amazing, best performance this season. They will forever rain supreme no matter what people say. You have to give it to them they will forever be a top 3!
Jamiyah really is the most consistent crab. I like the other two as well but jamiyah is consistent. I want a new look for her next year. Maybe hair color. Something to make her really pop
In the late 1960s and early 1970s', HBCU Majorettes put down their batons to "dance". The Fabulous Dancing Dolls are one of the few HBCU Dance teams whose main focus is entertaining the fans. The majority of HBCU Dance Teams' routines consist of the same elements from week to week, Ballerina spins, Gazelle jumps, stunting and rolling/tumbling around on the ground, the fans have been forgotten. Yes, you should evolve with time, but tradition, which is "dance", should NOT be lost. Today's HBCU Dance Team's main focus is the stands. Choreography and dance in field routines have been neglected and forgotten. The stand routines are now the main focus for the majority of HBCU Dance teams. Thank you, Fabulous Dancing Dolls, for putting the fans first and keeping classiness and the element of "dance" alive in the 21st century.
Motion had the most creative fields this year. Yes even better than the dolls. Yes you can hold on to tradition just evolve. I’ve followed Motion and the Dolls since 2005 and I can say both teams have improved, it’s just the Dolls have seemed to hit a plateau. I need more from them. Point blank period.

I noticed when motion does altogethers the captain doesn’t first and then sit while they do it all together.. I’ve never seen them flow into one count to another.

The Dolls continue to represent class, femininity, beauty, style, and grace. That’s very rare today. They continue to honor the same tradition started by Dr. Isaac Gregg’s (RIP), back in 1969. Although we all love and appreciate the other HBCU teams, we simply don’t need every single team out there bucking, thrusting, and humping their pocketbooks forward. Just learn to appreciate the fact that we still have a team of young ladies who’s remaining true to their traditions.

MY OPINION is Dolls set the standard/been the foundation & inspiration for so many other teams for decades. Other teams have personalized & created their own swag from that foundation. Their dilemma seems to be how can we elevate & evolve that without losing who we are. It’s time for some evolution.
Doll’s would have ate more if kyree did some of danni counts. but how ppl was dragging the dolls like they loss bad, those girls dance their asses off. Everyone has to remember danni know the dolls like the back of her hand she an alumni. She came prepared for them. Motion is on a different level since danni started coaching them. Jsettes and motion are teams to beat this Season.

It has come to my attention that mmm maybe the dolls don't see as many teams as competition. I mean the only team they get creative for is J-settes. Other than that when other teams find out they they going against the dolls they bring out the antics, and the dolls just simply do what they do best. Also since y'all saying my dolls got devoured and all that... just remember that motion needed a doll to help them out... smooches

A studious doll indeed so shout out to you Kyre! Motion great job, I enjoyed TSU arrangements a lot I definitely see the similarities in sound. It’s almost as if they switched, but I think Dr. Taylor need to hire a younger band director that has some more youthful hype energy to write and arrange a selection. I throughly enjoyed both bands though I can’t choose

I’m sorry for whoever feelings this may hurt but I honestly really and truly don’t care and I’m going to be the one to say this but the dolls are really starting to become boring af! Like I don’t know if it’s the music or just the style is just too slow,but I noticed when then are going up against other teams that are bringing creativity and energy the dolls don’t match the same energy which makes it look like the other squad murdered them which sometimes isn’t the case. We just want more from them,cuz what we have been getting isn’t enough and don’t get me wrong I love them but they are quite boring lmaooo

Great jobs to both teams!!! Motion eased out the win due to not being in the stands and having heels on!!! They were really great, but the dolls are still more fluid!! It’s not easy to make your body move like that!!! Gotta know the dolls groove to the beat!! Ain’t no battling!!! In other words, you see me over here dancing!!!
Nobody looks like the dolls doing their counts!!! Absolutely nobody!!! But it’s clear that motion won. But again they’re not in the stands (a difficulty avoided) they have heels (wow factor). But other than that they were about the same
Do you see the detail in the dolls count it’s unmatched they are as one the details how they roll there fingers the Hand movements that shit so soft smoooth dynamic classy sophisticated it flows so well with the music. So the dolls win this. But that doesn’t take away from motion they were nice why I say nice is because they were together but if u pay close attention you can see that their timing was a tad bit off which is what messed them up the details of their counts throws the timing off but the we’re ok the execution was delivered that little timing is the details I. There com noinysn n u can catch the dolls timing is as 1 which makes the details the slight details in the rolls of the fingers the tree swift smoothness of the counts makes it flow so well and that’s why they win
