No doubt it is probably cheaper and more relaible than all the other Euro Luxo brands that were mentioned, butDoesn't the petrol boxer engine suffer from head gasket issues. This is the primary reason I've been avoiding them.
Like the diesel? Here in NZ it’s got a horrid reputation for reliability. I’ve got my 2004 3.0 Bean outback I’ve owned from new. Got a 2019 Touareg and 2019 bitdi r line Passat wagon also…but oddly it’s the Subaru I jump in for almost everything. Surely a good car
