Long Beach Dub Allstars. Enough Already, held on Jan. 11, 1997 was billed as A Sublime Rock N' Roll Benefit Show to benefit M.A.P (Musicians Assistance Program) and the Jakob James Nowell (Brad's son) Scholarship Fund. Southern California bands No Doubt, Pennywise, Vandals, Voodoo Glowskulls, Long Beach Dub All Stars (featuring Bud and Eric of sublime), the Ziggens, Fluf, All Day and Slightly Stoopid played the event which raised over $40,000

I was there, great show! Give Opie some credit he was nervous as all Hell. It was like his 2nd show singing ever. Not to mention Brad's got some huge shoes to fill!

This video rules! Thanks to who put it up! One of the first Long Beach Dub Allstars shows, when they had Miguel on guitar, Ikey Owens on Keys, and Todd Foreman on 2nd saxophone. The songs are: April 29, 1992, Garden Grove, Don't Push, back to Garden Grove. Just like Sublime did it.

according to Wikipedia, they broke up because of disputes about some of the members breaking a vow not to use hard drugs. Maybe they felt they fulfilled their purpose and decided not to be a tribute band anymore. but personally I don't care about that. I love their sound! and like you said if they got back together they would pack houses!!

No one can do Brad justice, he was one of a kind. However, Opie comes the closest to Brad in terms of voice (that's why the band recruited him) and RAS-1 comes the closest to Brad at guitar. Opie sings pretty good on Listen to DJs and Lonely End. Ras is pretty good on Sunny Hours. Point is no one can replace Brad, but I am so glad the rest of the guys kept the sound going. I only wish they were still together.

I wish they would too. I would love to see Bud, Eric, Ras, Marshall, Opie, Tim, and Maness get back together. It could still happen technically but they are all in different bands now. Bud is in Del Mar, Eric in Stone Wing, Ras is solo, Marshall, Maness, and Opie are in Dubcat, and Tim Wu is in Chapter 11.

yeah. Ras is ok for a singer but much better at his guitar. I wish Opie had more songs because he blazes on lonely end, my own life, kickdown, etc. LBDA rules! look at all the talent on the stage!

Anyone else notice HR from bad brains in the back by Bud. Also you can see Josh Fischel from Bargain Music towards the end on stage with a video camera, "pretend I knew about video...", anyone know where i can get the rest of this video? i have the audio, but this is the first video i've ever seen of it, great show
