the problem is that this kind of free-form music doesn't happen anymore. Bradley and Gwen probably didn't even know that the camera was there. Modern artists all seem to be posturing themselves for a goddamned spotlight.
Ya mean, EXACTLY what Gwen does today? My gf watches a show she's on called The Voice, and I had to watch 2 FULL EPISODES before i knew it was Gwen. She's been the most beautiful chick (in my book) for 20+ years, now she's had a ton of plastic surgery which looks horrible. She's such an attention whore now. She's also a self proclaimed "vocal coach," "actor," "producer " and lists about 10 other positions she holds in the music and movie industry. So sad ppl become starved for fame instead of just having fun because theyre creating in the moment. Gwen probably wouldnt dance on stage now(nevermind actually skankin) unless the promoter had her covered under some amazing, ridiculously expensive health insurance and lost wage coverage in case she sprained an ankle and had to cancel a show where she makes $250k a night, playing by herself, minus her band! Yeah, fuck those assholes, what have they done for her lately?I want 1994/95/96 back in the worst way, green day, rancid, goldfinger, social d, deftones, sublime, Orange 9mm, korn, Pennywise, so many great fuckin bands!
I wish I could find more from this concert. I was at this concert. This was my 21st birthday celebration with my son's father. I am going to show this to my son and show him that mom used to be cool at one time. LOL

bananabutt66 I would agree but she ended up doing an amazing cover of "DJ's" after Bradley died live at The Kingdom. It ended up on the Sublime tribute album as well.

Benjamin Smith They were awesome! I totally didn't appreciate it at the time. Definitely better than the 80's. I was a teen and I definitely had some good times. I didn't really fall in love with Sublime until it was too late. :(
90s a nice balance between...well we knew shit from clay but didn't have a phone on the hip to tell us everything we need (or dont need) to know. If u want to learn how to a play someones song, u couldn't google the tab and watch the utube lesson. allowed some individual sounds and joy to spring forward. not to mention things like ppl wanted to expand the mind on things like cid rather than ice

Thanks OP! Great footage, I was there that night with a couple buddies. The opening band was called Bump and got booed so much they shortend their set and left the stage early lol. For the record when I went there that night I had no idea who Sublime was. It sure would be great to see more footage of this show since my memories are in bits and pieces.
I would have never known that was Gwen Steffani had it not been for the song they were singing and her unmistakeable voice. She looks totally different.
i like when Brad busts out some Barrington Levy - Please Jah Jah... when he goes "working all day sah, as a contractor...blah blah please doctor...." i love that song, go check it out if you have never heard it. It will make you so happy.

How amazing were these guys? I realize that Gwen had to evolve her career, I just wish she would have stuck with something had a little more meat on the bones than Holla Back Girl.
