Fuck man sometimes I just wish to have been born in a different era to have experienced seeing Brad and the guys live. Being a teenager in this digital age is weird. I love reading those comments that say they got to experience seeing them back in the day. I envy you guys for real. I hope to have stories like that when I’m older.
It's 100% not the same, but you should try and see badfish live. They bring the same energy sublime had (almost) and play all their main songs amazingly.

Yeah I just saw his son playing and he definitely don’t have the same edge or soul brad did, he can mimic the pop aspect of it but not content or the cracked out mexican jazziness brad had lol
Seen them several times back when they used to play tiny clubs. I remember this was the very first Warped Tour ever. It was insane. CIV, Deftones, L7, Orange 9mm, Sick of it All, No Doubt, and Sublime to top it off. What a line up. I was there North Hampton MA. I distinctly remember that show.

I was there. Brad said Bud got arrested the night before (maybe Orlando?). Maybe he was joking. We were kind of bummed at the time but looking back it is special. They didn’t play that long if I remember correctly.
Bud got arrested. He hopped on a bike drunk tried the half pipe. Didn't work out so well. He busted his ribs. Dr's wouldn't give him anything for the pain. So he went to his nearest and dearest street pharmacist. Put everything in a to go bag and went on his merry way. Whoever was driving got pulled over dui/open container or some shit. Can't remember exactly. So he got bopped for possession. I believe it was night before in North Carolina.
I was there. It was definitely Orlando he got arrested in. Crazy he got to the Edge right at the end of the set you can hear Bradley saying. I was stage right. Such a brilliant musician.
It was a great show. Sublime was the cherry. Sublime was the reason I went to this show. Turns out it was close to the last for Bradley. ☹️. It was the edge in Ft. Lauderdale fl it was a different time.
I guess it was already like a 5 year old song when it started getting radio play and the meantime, they'd seen people totally misinterpreting the song and probably grew up a bit as well and definitely weren't into. I heard Bud say it was contractual for some of the bigger shows the booked to play it.
