Here is a remix of "Ghosts" from the Subnautica OST! This remix is also on SoundCloud: / ghosts-primal-xenolith... I'll be working on "Cuddlefish" next!
The amount of thought put into these remixes to ciapture certain feelings and experiences just amazes me. With this one the way the music flows perfectly captures the way the ghost behaves in game. The ghost leviathan doesn’t make ambient roars like the reaper or sea dragon it’s dead silent but when it attacks it’s an ear piercing shriek of pure intensity. Here before the main riffs the song always gets real quiet, even completely silent, before suddenly jumping out in an intense melody just like the ghosts.
The Ghosts: As the Cyclops was working hard to keep moving, Ryley’s PDA said: “Entering Ecological Dead Zone. Cause Unknown.” Ryley freaked out at this and decided to send out his friend to check out the area. Luke strode over to the prawn suit and went inside. He made sure he was tethered to the Cyclops so he could get back, but, suddenly, there was a flash of blue light. The radio started to make static, and just disconnected, leaving communication off between the two. Ryley shouted in, “Luke?” Silence. After three minutes, the Cyclops said, “Large life form in the region.” Ryley started to search with his sea glide, but the beacon from the prawn suit was nowhere to be seen. Then he saw the light flash for a second... Then he heard the roar.
me: sees my first ghost in the lost river : holy shit me after seeing it several times: ok this things annoying me much later in the void seeing the adult ghosts: jesus fucking christ get me out of here!
man, people really start to click on peoples channels instead of finding good music, watching it and leaving, and instead look for art like this and your other music
uh, you reminded me of one of the scariest moments in my life. Poor seamoth. it didn't survive the encounter with the three ghost leviathans. I thought I would die of a heart attack.
@@demonflame6694 I tried to go over the Crater Edge/Dead Zone (i didnt know at the time) with my Cyclops to get to the shallows for some red table coral samples and my Cyclops got absolutely fucked up. One almost followed me to my base before the countdown of doom began. Quick Edit: I had my Seamoth docked inside..
HOW DO YOU KEEP MAKING THIS BEAUTIFUL MAGIC!?!?!? This partially sounds similar to the Black Ops 2 Intro music we all know and love and that's what I love about this since it feels like a mini remix of that too! Awesome!
with an audio enhancer this remix hits harder then any other remix ive listened too. i love everything about the song including how hard the bass hits through out my headphones
Oh this is freaking AWESOME. I love how this sounds. I've been going through all your subnautica remixes (after finding you today) and honestly i LOVE them all. You're incredible. +1 sub from me~
They actually flung off my head when I got to 4:30! I was amazed! The power of head bobbing is my way of rating. ♾ cuddlefish eggs out of five cuddlefish eggs!
Unlike reapers, ghost leviathans don’t give you a chance to escape, “Leviathan” primal Xenolith remix, wavers, like you escape but then another reaper appears, but you escape again, and you are caught with another. Ghost leviathans don’t give mercy. They kill on the first encounter, making your end clear, and this song, like the ghosts, gets deadliest at the end
@@dilophosaurusplayz nah the one in the mountains corridor leading to the lost river. I set up a base in the lava zone and I use that as my entrance. Upon leaving for the first time to go to my main base the ghost attacked me. That’s the only leviathan I’ve killed and I hope it’ll be the last.
This creature is approaching the size limit for sustainable organic lifeforms, and has been designated leviathan class. Adults of the species have been encountered exclusively around the edges of the volcanic crater which supports life on this part of the planet, and react with extreme aggression on approach. 1. Hammerhead: Cartilaginous extensions of the creature's skull form a hammerhead which protects the ghost leviathan as it performs devastating ramming attacks. 2. Jaws: While fully capable of tearing through the flesh of any creature in range, all evidence indicates that mature ghost leviathans feed on microscopic lifeforms in the waters around the edges of the inhabited zone. Their vicious attacks on interlopers to their domain are not predatory in nature, but territorial. A creature so vast requires a huge expanse of water to satisfy its daily calorie requirements. 3. Torso: Its muscled interior body is surrounded by a translucent outer membrane, suggesting adaptation for deep, low-light environments. When threatened it can tense its entire body before lashing out with incredible speed. 4. Lifecycle: Probable migratory behavior. This specimen was likely born far from the area where it was encountered. Assessment: Extreme threat - Avoid the crater edge
This shows you, primal, that your music is over the top on good enough to use the very famous “Why do I hear boss music?” Meme! Great job and keep the aliens vibing! Seriously, they haven’t come cause they are to busy vibing to the BEST IN EXISTANCE!!! But, great job and keep up the *GREAT* work! 😄
Honestly the Original Soundtrack of Ghosts was very underwhelming, but this is quite the opposite. This probably fits in the game much better than the original!
Hey, have you considered doing the Ark Abberation Soundtrack yet? And when do you think cuddlefish will come out? Sorry if I’m annoying, You’re just the BEST IN THE WORLD and I’d love to hear more from you!
Oh, no problem! I'm glad you enjoy my music! The Ark Abberation soundtrack seems interesting, but I'm not sure if I plan to remix tracks from that OST yet. Also, I cannot really guarantee release dates since I don't have a consistent upload schedule, but Cuddlefish will definitely be the next Subnautica remix that I will release.
So THATS what waits out there in the dark? I'm on my first run of Subnautica and when I was cruising along the seabed I noticed it suddenly dropped away. Since my game survival instincts are better than my real life I stopped and followed the land. I did not go deeper. Now I'm glad I did not. No need to feed my poor seamoth to this thing.
I don't think this remix fits very well with the kind of eerie and also creepy theme of the original soundtrack. Something more dark and slow would be much better - sorry to say it, but the funky music really doesn't fit there. I can still see that you put a lot of work into that remix, so good job nonetheless. Don't see this comment as hate but rather as well-intentioned criticism.
