1. The undertakers real name is Mark Calloway, not Mark Williams. 2. Never mind the fact that he started wrestling in the mid to late 80s, this movie came out in 1991. He would debut the undertaker gimmick at the 1990 survivor series. When this movie was first released, most wrestling fans knew who the undertaker was. He wasn’t advertised by wwf in the movie to protect his gimmick for wrestling
Thank you for your comment bc I was absolutely about to lose my shit with this Jabroni, he was a part of the skyscrapers Tag-Team in WCW when this was filmed and Hogan told Vince McMahon about him and the rest was history
Yet he did look more like his WCW gimmick Mean Mark Calloway than the Deadman WWF gimmick would become one of the most well respected pro wrestlers still hilarious to hear him talk like he just inhaled helium
Fun piece of trivia - the mime was played by stuntman Tom Morga, who is the only actor to play Jason Vorhees, Michael Myers and Leatherface. That resume notwithstanding, he was really sweet when I met him at a convention.
@@ILLUMINATI38436not certain on what one of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre but I remember seeing his name in the credits of one of them that I have not certain of what Friday The 13th or Halloween he could have been in because I only have the vintage ones of those but I loved even the crap Texas Chainsaw movies to were reboot remake and numbered movies are a part of my collection except for streaming only ones
I love this movie. It's complete 90's cheese. If this movie was made today, it's making 1/2 billion dollars. We are that starved for new entertainment, with fresh ideas. Movies today have lost the ability to write, direct, and produce family comedies and fun movies.
I must have watched this a dozen times when I was a kid. I remember seeing ads for it in comic books. Christopher Lloyd is a national treasure. He was a huge part of my childhood. Loved seeing him pop up in Nobody.
Neat factoid: The prop Hulk Hogan uses which is now commonly known as the PKE Meter from Ghostbusters was built by a company called Modern Props. They were known for lending props out to various science fiction productions. The prop was not only used in this movie and the two Ghostbusters movies pre-Ghostbusters Afterlife, but it was also used in an episode of Knight Rider, used in a failed show called Outworld, and used in the John Carpenter movie They Live. Somewhere around 1998 to 2002 the prop went missing. One of the members of the Ghostbusters prop replica community had been considered a suspect, but was eventually cleared of charges. Modern Props folded in 2020 and the design for the prop is now under control of Columbia Pictures' sub company, Ghost Corps, the company that controls all things with the Ghostbusters license.
You should have called this a fun fact... Because it genuinely is. I bet you didn't list everything it's been in, right? For some reason, I thought Star Trek, maybe? Anyway, good fact. 👍👍👍
I watched him on TV as the master of pain in Memphis when I was a kid. You could tell he was special back then but I couldn't have predicted what would happen. Should have known when he beat Lawler but hey I was 7 ya know.
"I was frozen today!!!!!!" Lol. The only reason I knew this existed was because it was on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles VHS as a pre movie trailer and it had been stuck in my head rent free because it was Christopher Lloyd and Hulk Hogan, it was just so weird. Those 2 were both scary famous when this trailer launched.
There was a place in my city in the 90s, and made it into the early 00s, that was a mini golf, arcade, and LAN place that was open to like 12 or 1 am and was for kids.
@@RedDragonM1don't be a dork. Yes, your ol' pal "mark" has been wrestling that long. It's so cool that you guys are on a first name basis. Terry has been wrestling even longer, and he was boning a girl that could be his daughters twin, pretty cool huh?
Actually, this was before he debuted as The Undertaker. He had been wrestling with Jim Crocket promotions for years before hand. Mark Calloway is awesome. But man oh man the early/mid 90s were an interesting time for television and film.
Undertakers debute was November 1990 at WWF survivor series and the movie released 1991. So maybe he filmed this movie before he became Undertaker but he was already known when this movie came out.
@@Mick2K that was my point. He was already the undertaker and had been Mean Mark Callous. I remember when this movie first came out, I went to see it as all loyal hulkamanics did, and I recognized the Undertaker.
I was 7 years old when this movie came out. Me and my friend watched it together and that part where he grabs that guy about the 2-10 algerizer had us laughing so hard. Up until maybe we were 15-16, whenever we were looking for something we'd grabbed one another like, "Where did you put my 2-10 algerizer!?"
I just remember watching this trailer a million times on my ninja turtles tape..even as a four year old I was like wtf even is this movie supposed to be
It don't matter if they weigh the same as long as you rotate and do equal sets on both sides...but you are absolutely right about how ridiculous this movie is. Good job.
Engineering trophies and prize items do tend to use metal not normally used for equivalent things from other areas, they are not rare in the sense of the amount on earth just uncommonly used by people. Gruduates used to get (maybe still do) tungsten rings being a decent example
I never saw this movie but remember there was a trailer for it on one of my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles VHS tapes when I was a kid which I saw plenty of times and I thought it looked interesting.
I was looking for a comment that talks about this being a preview on Ninja Turtles 2. I remember it was a preview when I went to see Turtle 2 in theaters too.

INTERESTING FACT- 8:15 His name is actually Mark William Callaway and debuted in wwf/wwe in 1990 a year prior to this movie and wrestled for years before that.
It's Mark Calloway, not Williams, who is The Undertaker. And he WAS a Wrestler. He was either about to, or in negotiations to join the WWF and became The Undertaker character.
Another bit of fun trivia. This could have been danny divito and Arnold. They were give the scripts for this and twins and whichever they passed on loyd and hulkster got to so. In an alternate universe this is divito and arnie....
Honestly Lloyd and hulk hogan would have been more believable in Twins as separated twins. Not saying the movie would have been better, just a tiny but more believable
I saw this movie at a discount theater on an army base in Indiana while I was in A School in the Navy. I had no idea what it was, but when my friend invited me, I thought "Suburban Commando" sounded like something that might be cool. Of course, it turned out to be The Hulkster and it was about the furthest thing from cool I could imagine. Still ... it only cost me a dollar.
You know i like those movies with the hulkster,i have good memories and he was also really funny! I strongly believe he did those for the kids back in the day and when he does the hulk face he's also funny as well! I will try to find those original movies for my collection!
Of course the uniform fits. Some people may not know this but Hulk Hogan and Christopher Lloyd are twin brothers. That movie "Twins" was based off of them. They only look different due to special effects.
i remember watching this movie when i was like 10 and thinking it was the coolest movie ever... glad to confirm all these years later that it still is haha 🤣
Every 10 minutes, i expect the movie to zoom out into a theater, and we have been just watching a movie within a movie the whole time... but no. Unfortunately, that did not happen.
I was about three years old when my parents dragged my brother and me to this piece of shit. I only remember because I fell asleep relatively early in the movie and woke up at the exact moment Undertaker started talking in a little kid's voice. My fledgling brain couldn't process that and it freaked me the fuck out.
I know right? minimal range movement for Hogan... all he does is punch and kick when he rassels. Like Ultimate Warrior goes crazy and Gorillia presses. Macho King/Man jumps off the turnbuckle, Gurerrio does crazy flip moves... What's so weird about this movie though? It's just your standard high tech alien marooned on this 3rd world yokel backwater planet that the universe has deemed us the Alabama of the Universe. Just like Luke Skywalker stuck on New Mojave stuck on uncle Owen Skywalker's avacado hydroponics farm.
I vaugely remember this one...largely the part where the main villain turns into a monster after being hit in the balls. xD And the part where the poor cat gets launched fifty feet.
This is the 3rd movie I got of Hulk Hogan's first 2 are Santa With Muscles and Secret Agent Club 4th movie was is High Noon at Mega Mountain I had to buy a couple of those again because of water damage this one was unreasonable difficult to get again ironically got 2 copies of it
