I was thinking it might be fun if you couldn't afford to do the whole arrangement at one time just start with the top pot and as you can afford it add the next pot or start leaves of you own and add on as they grow or as you add to your plant stash. Just a suggestion. I love the whole idea of this arrangement! You always have great inspirational ideas!

Also with succulents its is absurdly easy to propagate them, pull off a leaf and you have yet another growing. I literally have so many I don't know what to do with them

In Indonesia succulent is veryyyyy cheap.. 0.5$-2$ only... you can get good and mature succulent for that reasonable price.. you can get succulent for free from your neighbours... because it is easy to grow.. and soooo many variations of succulent that you can get for free... hmmm

Just found this channel...I'm HOOKED. I in the middle of renovating my garden....starting with a completely empty landscape. I didn't want to plant anything into ground, but am starting to change my mind. Thank you for all the fabulous ideas.

I use lazy susans for so much. From cakes in the kitchen to lotions and make-up on the vanity, to even puzzles in the family room! They are made from so many different materials also.

The White Christmas clip was used perfectly! Beautiful arrangement. Yes, if you slowly buy succulents, $3 here and $3 there, you'll have plenty to play with soon enough. My Home Depot just got new flats in. I had to limit myself to 3 succulents for reasons, but, ohhh, the temptation to buy several flats of them!

This is the same thing I put together last summer with outdoor sedums! I needed to utilize clay pots and I purchased a few larger sedums at the garden center and filled in with pieces out of my landscape. My version was pretty inexpensive and it has survived the winter with new foliage coming on...so fun💚

Don’t worry about it being expensive. Most of those plants are plentiful at the big box stores for three to five dollars each. Some of those plants can be replaced with small rocks and plants added over the Months. We crave gardening so much that picking out a new succulent once a week to replace a stone is fun. This way if the selection is low, ordering a few special succulents online is a treat. Just as the prices vary so do the budgets of the gardeners that watch your channel. Proven Winners is one of the most expensive plant growers and you use most of their plants and many of us run out and purchase them without fail the minute you show them. Telling us just gives us an idea of the cost before we hit the store. Keep doing a wonderful job.

I think videos like this are great inspiration even if you have a small budget. You can easily scale a project like this down to your budget. Also, a lot of succulents are easy to propagate. I moved into my house and there was a retaining wall covered in hen and chicks. I know the previous owner only planted a small number of plants and they just spread like crazy. I get more new hen and chicks every year and use them in so many new places.

Love this!! Even if you didn’t have enough succulents, you could fill other layers with African violets or other smaller, less expensive plants, or things they have on hand. Everyone can take inspiration from this and go smaller or larger. I love being inspired to try new things! 💗😊👍

Yeah, I watched one of her succulent videos and got hooked about 8 months ago. I'm loving it but there is a definite leaning curve. Check out a bunch of succulent care videos and try to find someone in a similar climate to you. That makes all the difference in the world in what soil medium works better and how often you water (or don't water!). I've lost several succulents and I've got some that are doing really well. It's lots of fun and they are so pretty!!!

Yes, you could definitely do this with smaller pots. They wouldn't have to be terracotta. Or even have to match perfect...just graduate in size. Think if you could find mini sized pots in the 3 main colors, green, soft blue and soft pink or purple. It would highlight the plants and be gorgeous 💚💚

I have every single item for this project, even plants (my succulents give back constantly~cuttings are the best!) it won't look exactly like yours but it will be just as nice and it will be FREE!!! 💖💖💖 Oh and I use lazy susans, from thrift stores, for plant projects, all the time!!!! 😁 Thanks for the cute idea❣

I was so surprised you posted this video today. I just potted some succulents that I got as a Christmas gift! I put them all in the same dish! Much smaller scale. Such an inspiration! And, yes, tending my plants is therapy for me as well. It is therapy sorely needed on a cold winter’s day!👍

I really like it when you do the quickie video in the beginning and then go on to explain everything later. That way we can see the whole process in a hurry and then stay to watch the whole explanation is wet have time for that. Thank you! Cute project 😊 nice gift idea.

Beautiful arrangement! I made a similar one like that with flowering plants outside in pots. I use larger pots and then I put a dowel through all the drain holes of all the pots to keep it from tipping over outside.

Laura I find when I do most of my DIY craft projects it's about the same price or sometimes even more than if I was to go out and just buy something pre made, so it's not just arrangements. But there is that satisfaction you get from creating something unique. But yeah crafting is expensive unless you have your own stash as you pointed out and if you catch sales that's always good. But yea I've made some projects just picking exactly what I want and need and once totaled up I did that Wow sigh! lol

Beautiful arrangement. I am so glad you addressed cost. I have my own small business and people do not understand the cost and time that go into succulent gardens. You give me good Ideal's I want you on RU-vid everyday but I had a friend the 35 years and I lost her a year ago December 2nd and her and I was gonna make this together but God called her home way before her time. So I'm gonna make this this summer In honor of my sweet angel Stephanie but I brought in. Last fall, 7 of my succulents over whenever dam under my grow light and they look awesome. But like you said, some of the bottom leaves turn brown and I need to get them out of there but I love watching you. And your family.....your friend JoAnn from ohio
