I feel like JJ even subliminally tried to get him to take the mic away for it when he kept putting his down but Tommy just let us all breathe it in instead.
Growing up in Seattle, people forget with Sonics gone, Sue Bird carried Seattle basketball and is my all time favorite basketball player NBA or WNBA period. She’s a 🐐 So cool to get this interview. JJ podcast coming out with a banger!!
Another awesome podcast! Great job as always hopefully the sniffling audio coming through basically all episode can be learned from because that was a bit rough this time.
Evan Fournier had the same love for Mike Bibby, having a pic with him was one of the hightlight of his season two years ago when playing a game in Sacramento
Love the pod and with all respect to you guys. My homie Tommy pull the dang microphone away from your face when you’re not talking. All I could hear is you sniffing and exhaling. I wanna hear the legend sue bird preach 👏
i thought she misspoke and meant 31 and I'm thinking, that's not old yet. JUST YOU WAIT... But ofc, I had to Google it. Nope, she's 41. She's older than me but looks WAY younger
could FR not deal with tommy breathing the entire video, maybe its just me but hugely uncomfortable listening to somebody breath in my ear for long periods of time
@@abouttime2569 lmfao , the only toxic thing is this mentality + no one is forcing any of yous to get involved in NFTs, stay in your comfy space....the question is for JJ ^,^
@@14shadi Literally everybody doing NFTs have this mentality. Literally everyone. That is the whole point of NFTs. Nobody want to sit with and be satisfied having a pixel thingy that is ''worth'' $10K.
JJ don’t slow down dropping F bombs haha. It honestly makes the podcast more real and authentic. Fan of the show from New Zealand haha, keep up the great stuff guys.
When sue retires i really want a jj and sue nba/wnba show, idc if its once a week or once a month or daily, get a jj and sue show going at espn and gimme one reason to watch espn other than actual gameplay, gotta have tommy singing some david bowie for the intro/outro
Does Tommy’s breathing always sound so loud? It was frustrating for me at times to hear it. Love the podcast, prolly my first issue with it EVER! honest mistake I’m sure. All love 💜
Iman doesn't need to do any more podcast. he needs to go to the G-league and dominate in order to get another NBA chance. Similar to Isaiah and Lance Stephenson.
One question I would love to ask Sue and all the OG WNBA players is, whether/how much they think the talent level of the young players in the league now has only gotten better. To me, I'm impressed by the new players that are coming in. Is it just recency bias or has the game gotten even better?
I found this really interesting. Id love to hear WNBA players more often. They fundamentally play the game differently but seem to have a different perspective of how its played.
They should lower the hoop, it's nothing to be too proud about the average man is 5"10 average female is 5"4 why not lower it and make more options available aswell as entertainment value.
@@abouttime2569 disagree completely they have massive limits compared to guys, the WNBA hasn't gotten more popular recently they've just been pushed to such an extent by media etc so it seems like they're all of a sudden popular. They aren't men it's not crazy to cater things to massively different body types. They better do it before trans chicks get into it and obscure their sport permanently.
@@twuandixon8675 ''they are playing at a lower rim court'' that sentence alone makes it much less appealing to me. I personally never watched a WNBA game but when you lower the rim, I probably won't even respect it.
@@abouttime2569 I am a massive WNBA fan, but I agree with you. Over the years the athleticism has improved and the skill is getting better. Also nothing will make the naysayers satisfied. If the rim is lowered it will only become another point of mockery "oH tHEy PLay with a LOwEer RiM". What's the point trying to placate people that will always mock? Leave it as it is. Players are doing stuff they weren't doing 6 years ago, let them strive. Secondly the logistics dont make sense. Are you going to provide separate rims on all basketball grounds nationwide? How will it impact the players to switch from lower rims in competition to higher rims when practicing on 9feet standard rims on practice courts which they share with their male counterparts. It's just too much stress.
