Ray fought for 25 years with a record of 174-19-6 he won over 87% of his fights averaging almost 7 wins a year.

And dont forget his 18 lost is happen when he was past his prime. As i know until the end of 1952 (31 old ray), his record is 132 won, 1 lost, 2 drawn.

He is not fighting after 1952, and he fight again in January 1955. And he is not the same as before

@@briandwis2104 not just that but most of Sugar Ray Robinson’s losses he had rematches and won! Nobody ever beat Ray twice until he was in his 40s

Maybe all time great,depends how you look at it ,Sam Langford beat more world champions but sugar defended an won way more belts

@@SM-4359 listen if you’re idolized by Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis and other great fighters and you have a record he has then you’re considered one of the greatest if not the greatest boxer I love his fighting style in my opinion has the best and most exciting fighting style in history

I wasn't born yet but I've heard about Charles Nelson Reilly and others of that era who were in the closet. Too bad it's not still like that.

@@therainmakerinsider This was not the only time Tattletales provided "cover" to a gay celeb. Another time they paired Dick Sargent and Fannie Flagg, both of whom were in the closet. I don't know if Allen was (she had one marriage in the early 50s) or whether she was just being a good friend to CNR on this.
