Free RU-vid Yeah.. that's what still annoys me. Eddie was even bashing deathcore too saying it was dead but now they're gonna try and go back cause no one liked his teehee shit lmao. This song slaps like old SS but the way they talked about their sound change on previous albums and were condescending of this type of sound tainted my liking for them. And they were one of my fav deathcore bands in high school when they first started. Edit: should edit that I'm still prob gonna get this album if it's like this. Just couldn't get into anything since Eddie joined even tho ASP was also one of my favs in high school.

SS use to be my favorite deathcore band, but after Eddie and the drummer were seeming to talk badly about fans and being assholes when Self Titled came out.. that just leaves me with a bad taste. Can't say whether the other members like Mark and Chris agree with them, but I still just try to listen and enjoy the music. Hell I'm not even a big fan of Metallica and Megadeth just because they are overrated and have some arrogant assholes, but I still enjoy their music :).

i really hoped for this since eddie joined the band and got disappointed back in the days. fans where butthurt anyways and griefed all the way against eddie. don't get me worng i liked the mitch era, but so do i like the ASP Eddie. i thought it was a match made in heaven that they found a proper vocalist to open a new chapter for SS. instead of going on heads held high with a new found glory they first tried to mimic mitch - failed. sold their souls with a calculated album aiming for a bigger target group while shitting on their fans, failed again. now we have basicly the old eddie with old SS sound - nothing innovative but solid hopefuly it is enough this time.

I totally agree. This is the stigma with a lot of bands the new singer comes and trying to match the old vocalist.. which I understand you want to have the same vibes but being your own vocalist instead of trying to mimic the previous just makes it that much better. No one could ever live up to Mitch but he sounds like he’s getting a lot better that he’s found his happy place

The vocals (Mitch's best work imo), the atmosphere, the catchiness of every track, even the eerie artwork that was done for it. This new stuff sounds like they've taken a lot from the days of the Cleansing but with better production and more mature song structure.

I dont really think, since growling and highs are pretty basic thing in deathcore, sure lot of deathcore vocalists only growl, but highs are pretty much common too. And lets be honest here, Eddie's lows are better then Mitch's, and highs depends on you, I personaly like them, but I think Mitch had better highs. Edit: Typoo
