If you watch Garza’s podcast he just very recently did an episode with Phil and Alex of Whitechapel and it’s interesting to hear him and Phil talk about this night haha they both were going through it. Not really.. At the moment, on my phone I only have there latest album and I'm quite sure there isn't any highs on there at all.. If so, then not enough to make any note of it.. He might of done higher stuff in there older albums. I've ben meaning to get round to re-listening to them but I've been trying to find other bands to listen to. I'll rephrase then, just for you.. He's one of my favourtite vocalists. He's my favourite vocalist in terms of personality.

J Rolla Not that easy either.. trust me, I've been doin screams/growls for about 2-3 years now. It does take time and practice, and you have to learn the techniques to get it so you don't fuck up your throat and vocal chords. Ryan Neal Just keep working at it and learn techniques to get vox down and you can learn to do so. It's not easy, I know, but it can be done with practice :3

Returned back to this golden moment of Deathcore history. Still blows me away with that guttural (2:07) and probably inspired many other vocalists to take up the technique more efficiently. Phil Bozeman, Deathcore’s dad teaching us the ancient art of the guttural. RIP Mitch Lucker.

+Ky Reiter i agree with that so much. the only thing mitch did better is highs. phils highs are not very good, but they get the job done. saying mitch's lows are better than phils is mind blowing. because mitch's lows was his vocal weakness in suicide silence.
