***** because theyre fry vocals. they dont have too much power. thats why his talking voice is just as loud or louder than his vocals. mitch used to do false chord and he almost didnt need a mic for his highs cuz they were fucking loud lol.

+Kyle Thomas I think cause Mitch had a higher voice and vocal range he's trying to get as high as possible to reach or better that cause he never use to do really high screams in all shall perish and he was a fucking monster

98izzark For me, his work on "The Black Crown" was his finest at that point. His range on the album sounded like he had matured his style. While I do think "No Time To Bleed" is their actual best album I enjoyed the "musicianship" of his voice on the third record the most. Live is another matter altogether and from what I've heard he was indeed losing his growl. That said he was still very young and in a position to re-train his vocal chords. I think "The Black Crown" was the result of moving in that direction. If Mitch had lived to make a fourth or fifth album I think we might have seen Suicide Silence pull a fast one and follow Ollie Sykes and crew down the Death-Rock glory hole.

+Kevin Berry exactly I agreed they probably would of went that direction however I'm not saying I disliked The Black Crown it just wasn't his typical screams most likely cause he couldn't do them as well during the time frame of recording

98izzark It took me a while to get into The Black Crown but once I was there I was onboard. The difference between the vocals on No Time to Bleed and The Black Crown are pretty jarring though. It was almost a deal-breaker at first because when I heard the first single with his talking into screaming on lines like "You only live once so just go fucking nuts, UAAAHHHGHGHGH"I was pretty sure they had lost their minds. lol.

Society Monster's Ye I agree. They are quite stupid in that sense. The metal/rock/alternative scene doesn't have high enough standards for vocalists in my opinion. If someone couldnt' play the guitar live, everyone would give them shit. Why can't we do the same for vocalists? A lot of them who scream can't perform the vocals they write.
