A physical offence team againts suikoden 2 final boss. No cheat, no stone and not even kindness rune bug was used. But fortune rune trick was employed to get everyone to lv99.
casting speed in S2 is very simple. Offensive spells will be cast based on 1x SPD of your character but if it's a supportive spell, it will be based on 1.3x SPD. For ex: Badeaux's SPD=100 Sigfried's SPD=125, when both cast same spells, Sigfried will go first for sure but if you let Badeaux casts Howling-support magic- while Sigfired casts flaming arrow-offensive magic- then 100*1.3 > 125 so Badeaux will act before Sigfired.In case both have same SPD, turns will be determined by party slot order.
lol, I made a spreadsheet calculating all characters' average stats at Lv.60, using their non-removable gear if applicable (no stat enhancing gear worn otherwise) and then calculating the best damage output rune combination: Kindness (+127 ATK), Fury (+50% ATK), Double-Strike for +50% final damage, Double Beat for a double attack. No surprise, the top 5 best characters are those with 4 runes slots open :D And then Viktor is the next best with 3 runes open + awesome ATK. Valeria is right next if you don't factor in Critical averaged damage (since double beat allows for two crit chance in a row, compared to Falcon never ever critting). Results:
core= 3300 HP, each head =4800hp. You would just need 2 members to kill the Core. Riou's Forgiver's sign and the 2nd character casts unite magic water/lightning. So the task now is to have 4 members to wipe 9600 left in total. Note that you will hit the heads for 0 damage if the Core wasn't destroyed, and the heads have some nasty elemental resistance.
He shown his stats at the end so I didn't see any abnormalities, if it's about Riou's SPD then that's might be because of Gale rune that buffed it up. His party members dealt good damage with Empty World because of their nice affinity with the element.
I don't have enough space in youtube message to analyze. But for short, they are the strongest 3 rune slotters in the army so it's easy to boost their damage by filling the runes with damage modifier for them. Other alternative choices would be Rina,Gantetsu,Kahn. Or if you care to use unite attacks, Sierra+Bolgan+Bob can form the strongest single target attack, Flik+Viktor or Wakaba+LCC are pretty good. But overall, they arent as strong as the 5 guys in the video.
He can although, it just depend on a little bit of luck with the random growth because his magic growth is slightly better than Riou who also almost has a second level 4 spell at that level. By the wat, you can legally farm for magic stones from the rope climbing game.
i was playing suikoden v last night, one of my party member, belcoot, dealt critical and multi attack simultaneously when he was using falcon rune. he dealt around 9500-9700 damage 3 times. more than 27.000 total damage. it was really amazing. maximum damage allowed in game is only 9999, but he dealt almost 3 times of the allowed max damage. he got beyond the damage limit
exertion is good for long battle, but so so in the one-turn style gaming.Thunder/rage is very good for battles that end quickly but we gotta check enemies elemental resistance. Kindness rune will be crazy strong if its glitch is abused(well, I always avoid bugs+glitches if possible), otherwise it's so so. Friendship is slightly worse than exertion. I used them anyway because of my impatience, Thunder and Rage runes are too rare to farm for everyone.
there're some video about this trick(not mine). Btw you can actually do it without Fortune rune, but it will be more complicated so I can't explain through YT message.
