Hollywood in Vienna 2022 features works from legendary composer Alan Menken and honored him with the Max Steiner Award.
The Suite and Colors Of The Wind from Pocahontas were performed by Christine Allado and the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchester at Wiener Konzerthaus.
All rights belong to ORF III and TOMEK Productions.

The natural reaction when hearing this: "Shall I cut it up? " then you remember who you where in Stalag 13 ( 1989 when the Berlin wall fell ) then in 1997 ( Schloss Birlinghoven 2004 question " that 3d interface used in that movie Contact looked suspisciously similar to the one i developed in 1997 " ): no one wants to be... do you want to be on my side?

every movie romanticizes history, its for kids. If you wanted every movie accurate then in pocahontas you would even have to put the real historical villain skinned by the natives after they literally lied to him about giving him food. And in the hunckback of notre dame you would have to put Esmeralda as the kidnapped child of a french prostitute, cause the point of the original book was that what happend it was everyone's fault, even of the of the Romani and their culture of teaching kids to rob and even kidnapping the kids of the countries they passed from (that comes from the generational trauma passed from being the last Cast in India centuries ago). if you want history you have to take it all. We need to accept disney movies are for kids.

While this movie may not respect Matoaka's story, as a non-Native, I can't help but feel like the power, grace and connection to the world around captured in this song reflects the spirit of the Natives.
