Great mother of gold ore! Wow that’s what I am talking about. If you have a leaf blower use it to make the fire hotter. If heated high enough the rock will be more glass like state. Yay gold smile way better than my six micros today
A Mexican man with knowledge said if he had sand and lead, he could recover Gold and silver. The lead does what the mercury does. at about 3 or 4 hundred degrees F. Can you cupel in a microwave? In my theory, Temps that would melt gold and silver are not necessary. All you need is to melt lead and have borax and lye or soda ash. You want the mix thin so you can pour good. (In a cone mold or pyramidal mold.) The only time high temps are used in cupelling the button. There can be a lot of losses in too high a heat. Unnecessary high heat. It looks cool , but you are paying for the privilege. Great show brother.

One guy used a hammer to pound down on the bar on his dolly pot. Like a hammer and a chisel instead of lifting and breaking over and over with your hand. I'm real strong but my hand gets tired.. Hold the bar in your left hand like a chisel and beat down on it with the right sized hammer.. We will have to call you Thore!
Great idea roasting those sulfides! Try using a little drop of dish soap in your water or jet dry to help break the surface tension so your gold dosent float! Take care buddy!!
If you get the quartz red hot and then immediately drop it in some cold water, it will make it much easier to break up, it basically turns to mush. Yuh can break it up with your fingers.. Like when you pour water on a hot windshield it cracks it ..
You have to use mercury amalgamation to recover that. It will collect it all down to 300 mesh!!!! Both Jeff Williams and Two Toes have good videos on it.
No I already try that ! Bigger peace’s sticks to mercury no problem but mikroscopic peace’s is to much covered in dirty and don’t stick to mercury.i already try that with sand containing mikroscopic gold and after using mercury I pan that sand agen and found plenty of microscopic gold .tomorow I make video where you can get almost all gold no meter what size.
@@myadventure7069 hey, i have a question - I decided to make my stannous chloride because its cheaper and I am doing something wrong - it is not clear. I used some pure tin (at least thats how it is sold) and muriatic acid. it has a greyish color. not bad but I can see it. have any suggestions? thanks ☺
put your crushed roasted material in to beaker and add nitric acid in and stir periodically after about 3hours or more filter off the nitric acid which should have dissolved any silver that may be in there leaving behind the gold in sand
Silverand gold does not react with HCl. This is because, like other reactive metals, they cannot displace hydrogen from HCl. Silver is below hydrogen in the reactivity series and thus cannot displace it. ...
That is why I think I should melt it in a lead collector. Small Crucible, not too hot. Just enough to melt the lead. Pick it up and swirl it around....pour it out Can you cupel in your microwave? that is so cool. What is that thing you melt with called? I need one. Great Show
The only reason you would have to roast rocks that size is to fracture them, so you will have an easier time crushing. To convert sulfides into oxides you will have to roast your crushed samples. If they are not crushed prior to your final roast then you will not maximize your yield. If this is a test, you'll want to do it correctly. Otherwise your results will not be reliable.
Maybe . Problem with my I don’t need the gold and looking for gold is just my hobby . I need keep moving another way I don’t live to long . And money for my no problem .
@@myadventure7069 that's a good point. It's not as though you're prospecting professionally. All the work it takes to produce a single sample costs more time and money than the yield.
@@myadventure7069 your videos are great. I like what you're doing with leaching and your use of extremely dilute aqua regia. I want to use this method as soon as I have a test sample decent enough. The problem I'm having now is distinguishing between tiny pyrite crystals and actual gold in the pan. Or maybe I have other metals glinting back at me? Only the acid test will confirm what I have. At the end of the day, these tests are fun.
