If Mozart came to his prime today, my fear is that he would be a TikToker or something equally watered down and depressing. He'd probably play hard into his scatological fetish and have really well scored 30 sec videos of him throwing poop at a wall or something. On the plus side he'd have probably done a collab with Joji back during the Filthy Frank era. God, but I can only dream.

What enchanting aria. First time a heard this was in the movie "The Shawshank Redemption" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-p8STa0EoUwI.html where the leading actor (Tim Robbins) made the other inmates listen to it. Anyone who has seen this scene and is not moved even a little, has a garbage bag instead of an heart...

I found this, albeit laudable overall , a little rushed & 'jumpy' - so I slowed it down to 0.9 speed & BOOM! Raised it to the next level! Closer to what is the pinnacle, unsurpassed benchmark performance this aria by Kiri Te Kanawa & Mirella Freni , in the film version of Figaro. 👏
