I am doing the same concept for myself only using sustainable fabrics, because I’m sick of fast fashion sending plastics to landfill and I refuse to be a part of it!!! If I want it I gotta sew it sustainably.

mmmhm! before I go to buy more fabric, I want to use up all my clothes here to make these items! Unless if it's linen or cotton bc I barely have any of that ;;;;; honestly sewing my clothes these days has turned me off from buying clothes- I don't have the need to be like omgg I gotta buy this thing! I've been feeling really excited to try to tackle it and make it on my own!! :) Best of luck to the both of us on our new sewing journey!!!

The eyeshadow is GORGEOUS omg. So fun. I also feel like my summer wardrobe is lacking, and I think it's just me always selecting the wrong clothing because Shanghai gets HUMID, and the thought of wearing clothes at all makes me sweat lol. I think bloomers are cute but I am not down with the wedgie. And thigh chafing is the worst. I always just end up wearing skirts or dresses with safety shorts because the thighs-eating-shorts is just too real.

Thank you so much!!! I having been loving the about face eye paints, as someone who doesnt know how to do makeup makeup like a professional- it's such an easy way to play with colors & makeup!! I just used my fingers alot of the time! Okay so clothes- bruh i am the worst offender for summer, esp bc i only really have polyestor in my wardrobe. About the bloomers, I think if you were to buy or make your own, what I am too looking for.. is for the bloomers go a little past that area where your thighs 100% touch. So like bloomers that have a longer inseam! For me that's normally a good 2 inches! Well when I tackle it in a sewing project, we shall see what I end up going with hehe

I can’t wait to wear my flowy dresses! It’s the only time I can go without a bra because they aren’t figure hugging. I had not heard of the ruffle pants till you mention it. I love these types of videos because you always get me more fashionly informed! Love your content girl!

I just got the BEST apron dress! It’s ribbed jersey on the top, & the skirt is lovely crisp poplin cotton & I am obsessed! It also has HUGE pockets.

hahah yes yes! I've taught him words in Korean, spanish, english and some german.. of course to him it's all the same language but - it does make me feel like.. ooo my dog is *smart*! hahahahahhaha

I'm also getting into upcycling/ making my own clothes but make it Peruvian/Quechuan inspired with current trends I find cute that I would wear beyond the trend cycle! I've so far made two hand stitched/ embroider patches of an Ukuku on vintage Japanese bear fabric and a Paracas mummy bundle in a bright croquette inspired style. I'm currently working on a adding two yellow fabric wings to my yellow bird house grandma core sweater as a momento mori about my recently passed cockatiel and a Moche Crab Lord inspired patch! I've also got a really vintage sewing machine that my old professor gave me for free recently, she only does straight stitches but she's so beautiful and works like new. I've been just keeping her to the side cuz I need to clean an old rusty lead pipe casing and I'm scared lol but I'll get to it! She has a ruffle making foot that I'm hyped for!

whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa that is crazy cool!!!! Do you have an instagram or tiktok where you show your creations? I would love to see it!!! Omg I bought a ruffle foot but I gotta double check on how to actually use it because the first time I tried it, it didnt work lol. Im sure its bc I just assumed it worked a certain way and I probably was putting my fabric weird or something lol.

I love this style of video. I always have so many upcycling and sewing projects I want to do. @Blueprintdiy has a upcycle planner that is great. There's a digital copy or hard copy.

For the backless top, you can sew bra pads/cups into the lining/garment to have a built in bra.

Wooooo, can't wait for summer. I loved all of your inspo. I'm a huge linen wearer in general, but especially in the summer. I recently scored a king sized linen comforter cover at the thrift store. Originally from ikea! Beautiful, chill print. Im stoked! I can make so many things with it😂

I love linen, too! I bought several Rachel Ashwell Simply Shabby Chic bedding pieces at a close out store (for cheap, cheap, cheap) about 10 years ago. I’ve held on to them knowing they would be something, one day. Duvet covers, pillow shams, sheet sets…all tightly woven 100% cotton fabrics that coordinate. I’m making a whole summer wardrobe.

I've been thinking of making some boxer shorts--not necessarily for myself, but maybe. i no longer need single-sized sheets and I have several bedsheets that are very soft and cute print--like Laura Ashley, etc. I thought about making pairs of shorts w the sheets and selling them on my depop. I guess I'd better get cracking. Oh yeah, and also making little headscarves to match.

I have never come across curtains or beddings while I've thrifted here in Korea :( thrift stores here just normally carry clothes. I'm also guessing if they do carry curtains it'll probably be expensive oop 😩

It's so hard to find shorts that feel stylish but not too feminine?? I always feel like a change in the seasons throws off my style and I have to relearn how to put an outfit together! I also find that I like layers as a way of building an outfit, but it just gets wayyy too hot where I live (although we're going into winter right now)
