I love the lost boys! I also used to love the original Kong when I was a kid! Gin is my drink....if you don't drink it a lot may I suggest Bombay Sapphire. It's a great gin!

This was such a fun video. I love your Summerween bucket list. Wicker Man is a good slowburn. It is kind of weird in the beginning, but the payoff is one of the best endings I have ever watched. I hope you enjoy it. The only two stories that I can think of that give me Midsommar vibes are Shirley Jackson's short story "The Lottery", and a novel called The Hidden People by Allison Littlewood. It is good. It is a little divisive though. Admittedly, it is a slowburn and has a bit of a sloggy middle. It has good atmosphere though.

I’m here for the hype of Midsommar! I loved that movie so much! Thanks for sharing some books that fit the vibe. Omg I also love the Sims! I loved playing it as a kid too, and have gotten into it as an adult but it does take up so much of my time 🤣 I had to put it down. The Gallows creek game sounds so fun!

Hahahahhaha You probably don't want to rewatch The Nic Cage Wicker Man hahahahaha it is not great but the movie commentary is pretty funny. All of those games look pretty outstanding. Cocktails look extremely fun! Great video as always!

I watched Midsommar one time, in theaters back when it came out 5 years ago, and it’s lived rent free in my mind since then. I also watched a ton of videos on it exploring the themes of the movie afterward. I’m still in awe of that stunning movie. I will be keeping an eye out for your reviews of the books you’ll be reading with those same vibes 👀 Also, your earrings are iconic 🦈💙

Midsommar is one of my favorite movies. I've watched it like twelve times. The original Wicker Man is so good. I bought Lost in the Garden after Willow at Willow Talks Books mentioned it on her channel a little while back. I'm planning to read it in July.

Your spooky summer looks like so much fun! My dream is to watch The Lost Boys in Santa Cruz!! We don't really get summer here in Edinburgh so hopefully I'll be able to book a holiday! These are not very summer but definitely you should check out a horror videogame called Little Nightmares. It is terrifying though!!

I've heard good things about Lake! It's going to be a Dragon Age summer for me, since the new game is coming out in the fall, so I need to replay the previous ones in preparation lol. Lake is one of my favorite games of all time! I just played it this year and I love it so much. The post office in it even looks EXACTLY like the post office in the little town next to mine in Oregon. Also, if you need another game that is ocean related and has a little bit of that strange/eerie vibe for summerween, I would check out Dredge. I haven't played it yet (it is on my list), but I have heard only really good things!

Its a summer camp counselor horror game where the choices you make effect the outcome of the story. 🌻The absolute chokehold Midsommar puts you in when you first watch it is no joke! I was obsessed with how the film used light and shadow for the longest time. The OG Wicker Man definitely has the vibes you're looking for and you might like watching it with Witchfinder General and The Blood On Satan’s Claw since they make up the "trinity" of folk horror. 📙Love the premise and perspective of In Bloom! I try to now only buy books after I've read them and loved them but this one is tempting me! If you ever want to do a buddy read, let me know. 🎮Okay, my gaming skills are firmly stuck in the PacMan/Frogger era but I NEED to play Spirit Farer! Forever in my grief processing era. 🌊Have you seen The Shape of Water? That might be fun to add to your Creature marathon. 🍿Super excited for your King Kong thoughts! I remember watching it as a kid and just ugly crying at the end. 🌞Summer bucket lists are so fun! Love that your prioritizing all the heart happy things!

I didn't care for the original "Wicker Man," (the remake is unthinkable) in which he plays a pagan leader, until I saw an older Christopher Lee warn his fans against involvement with witchcraft and paganism. Therefore his point of playing in "Wicker Man" must have been different from what I thought and I might re-watch it.

The Wicker Man is somewhat disorienting and leads to a shocking end. I’ve watched it several times. The remake is shameful. I think Hollywood has run out of ideas and thus does remakes of amazing original movies.
