This piece digs deeper into Billy's bipolar see saw between happiness and despair than any other of his tunes I know of. I think it's one of this true musical genius's finest and mos memorable songs, although it is but one of many great songs Billy wrote and the band arranged. Great job, Billy and the guys!

This song is about as close as you're going to get to perfection. Billy composes the music before he writes his lyrics and his synchronization of the two is truly extraordinary because you would think he had to write the lyrics first.

As a former New Yorker, I have to say he formed a lot of the listening habit for teenagers through the 70's/80's, including mine. He sounds very good for his age. This was a great song.

Actually, as a matter of fact, it seems to me that the way he plays it like this is the most depressing. The way played on the album is the happiest and the way he plays it present-day in concert at a lower tone is so-so.
