Pure Adirondacks Yes Syracuse and my brother was the principal and his wife was the teacher at Racquet Lake School 26 students, use to go to the chain lakes camped at the end of Racquet Lake, Big Moose Old Forge transplanted to Florida 30 years ago for work good career move but would go back in a Heart Beat! If I could and I will!, I have two bucket lists one is just for the Adirondacks LOL ⛺ Thanks for sharing it is a very special place. THANK God! it is a protected park you should do a segment on the people who take care of it and protect it someday. Thanks again 🌄

No worries, it was Helldiver Pond in the Moose River Plains. There's no rentals around there as it's a remote area, but you can find rentals at some of the gear/supply shops in the local villages. You spend time in the ADKs?
