Dear sweet Amy, My heartfelt condolences to you for the loss of you Dad. Sounds like your Dad was a great man who helped instill love for home and hearth. I lost my husband 9 years ago and he was so much like your Dad and loved working in our yard and kept our home, lawn, outdoor spaces looking so beautiful. I love doing anything home related inside and out and believe me you are making a house a home for your 3 little ones and they will bring this love for family, hearth and home into their adult lives so never change who you are, you are a beautiful person! And, let me again convey my condolences to you, your Mom, and your family. I know what a hard time you’re going through. My father passed in March 2019, and I still miss him every single days. I'm so sorry for the loss of your Dad . It's so hard to lose a parent . Sending thoughts and prayers your way. And yes celebrate and honor your Dad in ways he would love . I have a special Snow Bush that starting blooming after my dad passed . Everytime it blooms it makes me feel like he is sending the blooms . My Dad also loved caring for the plants and yard , I have many memories planting flowers and helping my dad seed the yard .

Hi Amy ~ I was able not to cry until the end of your video, then the tears fell down. Very sorry about the loss of your Dad. Hoping your Mom is holding up. Thankfully we get to be together again and y'all be swinging together on the porch swing once more. Loved your porch , it's always more work then anticipated but the payoff is really worth the effort. So sorry for your loss Amy , I lost my Dad just a few years ago I don't really have any words just know I care and pray for you. So kind of you to donate to such a worthy cause, such a unnecessary suffering for Mr. George Floyd I hope the world can open their eyes and see this tragedy and stop inflicting needless pain on people. So sorry for your loss Amy, I lost my Dad last summer as well, my mom developed dementia after that, I'm now her caregiver, not a easy task. Your porch is beautiful, glad you're able to enjoy it, unfortunately I live in Phoenix Arizona where the temperatures have been closed to 110', no easy thing being outdoors. 👍👍👍👍👍😉

I felt like you were telling my story, Amy. My mom and dad both loved the beautiful weather and flowers and making things look beautiful. I lost them both this past year within two months of each other. It was devastating, but with time I'm starting to appreciate all the memories as you are also. Keep them close to your heart with each memory you create with your boys. That's what life is all about. Love your channel. I just did a video with Blue and yellow for summer too. It's such a happy color combo and it looks so cute on your deck. I'm so impressed that he was able to carry that up the stairs all by himself. Great job painting and getting it all set. It's so sweet that you are donating the earning of this video to George. I still can believe this whole thing. It's still so sad.
