Even though I have low to medium-contrast personal coloring, I like wearing some high-contrast outfits, like black and white. It’s the only element of drama I like in my outfits, I won’t even wear anything asymmetrical. I love contrast-trim, which is finally widely available again, after Googling it for years! Contrast-trim is probably my favorite way to combine black and white, solid black near my face isn’t flattering. So, when I wear a black (or other dark color, like navy), I love a contrasting white collar (and cuffs), scarf, pearl jewelry, etc. to lighten it up a little near my face. I l also add makeup, especially lipstick and blush, which I don’t wear most days. Sunscreen only is my daily routine.

LOVE your style...even though some of the outfit ideas don't work quite as well for those of us who are a little chubbier and short 😉 I'm just not a fan of those mesh flats...to me they look like shower shoes. Sunglasses! I do so love how they elevate any outfit.....sadly when we go through a full week or more of rainy/cloudy days, wearing them isn't practical. I just looked at your Instagram to see if i could find outfits you've styled for older (like 80+) women - can't wear bare V-necks and large armholes because of a mastectomy, don't want to wear shorts because of varicose veins, want to camouflage my waist because it hasn't been slim for 30 years. I need some quick help with an outfit for an end-of-term party at work. For this occasion I only have a straight maxi (straight as in flowy, not tight) blue dress (cobalt blue, but a bit muted) and the only fancy shoes I have are dark teal ballet flats. I feel like the blue and green kind of work but also kind of don't... what colors can I include in my other pieces to kind of bring the two colors together? I have black sunnies and a black bag that I tied a teal scarf around to use the old color repetition trick. So the colors are muted cobalt, dark teal and black. What color should I add to make it better? Light teal? Coral? Also, I am a true autumn so I am aware that these colors might not be the very best I have but this is the only dress that fits atm. My other ones are too big.

Excuse me, but being slim or slender, that is an xs size maximum then naturally it's no problem to style oneself elegantly. It's quite difficult if there are some health issues. Oh, and yes, it needs money and takes time to find and to buy really good fitting clothes of some quality.

Oh, my, gosh - NO on those first two outfits!! That H&M white curvy shirt is hideous. You dress so beautifully and those two outfits did NOTHING for you. The rest? Stunning.

As a srylist you shud be sensitive to-the fact that not everyone can wear black or white. With all the color analysis information out there you shud realize only cool undertones can successfully wear black and white. As a warm season 80 percent of influencers talk about black and white and warm color undertones such as myself are always left out. Can you at least mention an alternative to black and white? I wish there was a stylist or influencer out there who spoke about warm alternatives. If anyone can recommend someone i cud dollow please let me know. I’m so tired of being left out. Thank you.
