As an international Flight Attendant I met many hotel pillows over 44 years of flying to exotic locations. Bring a pillow case to hold a rolled towel to support the natural curve of your neck. Use the pillow case as your laundry bag for return home suitcase. Those horseshoe shaped neck pillows for traveling are excellent on the plane for neck or lower back and also as your bed pillow. At the pool get 2 towels, one to lay on, one to roll behind your neck. Deeper relaxation and rest. Thanks for all the great Travel tips!

Dominique (and fellow travelers), I just wanted to share that when you are at a hotel and unhappy with the pillows in your room, many hotels offer different ones you can select from (especially the higher end hotels and resorts). Just ask if they have ie: softer, firmer, buckwheat, etc. Also, if the mattress is too firm for you, often they can bring you a mattress padding and will put that under your bottom sheet for you. I am an international flight attendant and have made use of these ammenities many times. Happy & safe travels!!

I’m so glad you had such a good time! A little salt and sand and sun is always good for recharging your soul! And you are so right about the aloe but I always bring lavender essential oil with me as well. It helps you sleep, and relax, but also if you get bitten by bugs or ants it will help bring down the swelling and soothe the bite. You can get just a small vile that is perfect for traveling. I even keep it in my purse at all times.

You’re hilarious. I crack up just listening to you, I feel like I’m sitting across the table from you and looking through your goodie bag. Clearly you’ve traveled a lot and you’ve narrowed down your essentials toproducts that really work and do the job. I’ve learned of a few products that will be included in my future travel toiletry kit. So thank you for all that. By the way my pillow is the first thing I pack no matter where I go. Without a good nights sleep no vacation is really a vacation. Fruit of the Earth Pure Aloe is MUCH cheaper and comes in a large bottle. It is amazing at taking the redness and burn out of sunburn and chaffed, dry skin. Every time I go to Vegas-where the desert air is super dry-I develop a painful red chafing on the inside of my upper arms where they rub against my torso, as well as between my thighs. This happens within 24 hours of my arrival. I use this product 2-3 times a day and within a day, the redness and pain is gone. Now I’m smarter and start using it as soon as I arrive-and never have a chafing problem! I’ve tried other more expensive pure aloes, but they don’t work near as well as the Fruit of the Earth.

Loved this video! I also squeeze in a steamer for my clothes so I always feel put together when I dress. I don't leave home without it! I also love using packing cubes - keeps me very organized. Side note: I love that you took time for yourself. So important to keep ourselves balanced and allows us to breathe again if life has been hectic.

@@constancehanselka1265 I bought it from Amazon. It is the Tepoinn 150W/400W Portable Handheld Steamer. I like it because it is smaller. I don’t know that I love it, I’ve seen others use better ones. However, it does remove wrinkles in my clothes 👍🏼

I, too, have pillow issues when I travel. I got so desperate one time that I requested extra bath towels & put two folded ones inside the pillowcase. Worked like a charm!

Thanks for all these! I ordered the bronzer sunscreen. One thing to do to limit hair damage from salt and chlorine is to wet the hair before getting in the pool or ocean, so the hair absorbs less of that. Even better is to put some conditioner in the hair before getting in the ocean. Helps prevent the drying.

Your posts are always so real and authentic! I am so glad you are feeling great and had a nice time. You deserve it! I started experimenting with self tanner st tropez and skinny tanner. I am going on a trip and look forward to the results. A tip I have for the hats (especially when it’s super windy) is wearing one of those padded comfy headbands and wear that under a hat! It works so great!!!!!

For dry hair, before going into the ocean or pool, add Moroccanoil all over to your hair. It blocks the elements from stripping your hair of moisture. I helped brand the Moroccanoil line back in 2008 and know my stuff. The moisture shampoo and conditioner are phenomenal, the whole line really. Thanks for another great video. Deb in NorCal

Loved this video and the tips/tricks for travel! I have also bought travel sized items and usually "try" and use them up so I don't have to bring back home! So happy you enjoyed your vacation. We were in the Rivera Maya (Cancun) in April... it was one of the most relaxing best vacations I've taken! My sister and I were discussing rising prices of EVERYTHING! And we were talking about what women might want to cut out that aren't necessities if things get tougher. We were discussing home pedis/manis... wonder if a tutorial could be done for an at home mani/pedi for the in between! I love my pedis!

Travel tip for your pillow. Pack it in a vacuum space saver bag, zip all the air out and it creates a great bottom layer in your suitcase. They generally come with a portable pump for your return. I stuff it inside a shoe so I don’t loose space :-)

I HAVE to travel with my pillow! I have perfected my packing technique to always have room for it. Carry on only! I love the idea of the vacuum space saver bag and may have to try it. My current method which I love is to roll my pillow and put it in a bolster pillowcase. Works like a charm to compress it and doesn’t take up much room in my suitcase. I have a two week European vacation this summer which I will only bring a carry on....may try the vacuum bag!

I was in Cancun a few months ago. I had a great experience snorkeling for the first time ever. I think the place was called WetSet Diving. Gave us a snack, water. So much fun.

@@bellenatural54I highly recommend going to the Riviera Maya area which is south of Cancun about one hr 15 min drive. We use USA transfer shuttle service for the drive to the resort. Safe and no issues ever . We’ve stayed at Barcelo Maya all inclusive multiple times. It’s a huge property with multiple hotels to choose from. Also, Hotel Catalonia Riviera Maya Adults only all inclusive. Both are great! We travel to MX 1-2x a year. Heading to Isla Mujeres in November. It’s a small island off of Cancun. Cozumel is also fabulous! 🏝😎

Hi. Loved the video 😘 when travelling I love an oil also but I take Elemis Frangipani solid oil. I usually leave it sitting on my balcony to melt and it’s then perfect to apply after shower in the evening. The smell is utterly delicious xxx
