Summertime Render or Summertime Rendering is the Spring's newest anime with only a few episodes. This is called the new Re-Zero or Steins;Gate and has taken the world by storm (sort of). Certainly, there has to be something unique about this new show! What could it be, I wonder. Watch to find out!

Despite the bad anime of this season such as Bookwalker spot, Oblitagory Isekai, otome edition, Incestagram Famous, Riding of the Dick Hero , OP Protag Reborn as OP Protag, Riding of the Dick Hero and Ya Girl Zhongmou, the world of Summertime Rendering is one of the best I have seen, and is by far my favorite this season alongside Spy X Family and Komi-Cant't Communicate. Also Ushio Kofun is my favorite character from this series.

Summertime Rendering caught me off guard ngl. This looked liked a basic show that had very basic looking characters. But I was incredibly wrong. This is a story that follows people who slowly become insane. This world gets more confusing but somehow does not make me want to drop the show.

I honestly found the anime's attention to detail incredible: both story-wise and animation-wise. And the characters aren't just stupid, they think about every action they make and they're very aware when they've made a mistake/forgot something. Me and my friends have never been this invested in a mystery anime before. Quite frankly, we never really did like mystery anime. So we were surprised how the show got us to think and theorize: pausing every few minutes to gather the information we've got so far to reach a conclusion. The anime so far is a perfect 10 for me, which is a score I've never given an anime before.

I'd rate it an 8. The only downsides were the unnecessary pantie shots of a 15 yr old and boob smotherings at the start. But those happened less as the show continued so it wasn't as irritating as something like fireforce.

One big diffrence is that the characters are not stupid. Shinpei does not take 4 loops to notice he is looping. Also her name is Mio not Milo.

Summertime Render is one of those anime that restored my faith in the anime community, to me it's a masterpiece and I'm sure it will be for a lot of other people when its completely finished since the manga ending was awesome.

Wow. I’ve never heard of this anime but after watching this video I’ll DEFINITELY check it out. It sort’ve gives me Erased vibes, you know? Someone from your childhood is murdered and then you end up going back in time to try and solve the murder. It’s a good concept and like you said, I’m here for it.

I have seen Code Geass, Madoka Magica, and countless other masterpieces. Summertime Rendering is by far one of my favorites. The mystery, characters, intellect of the story/battles in addition to the many twists make this one of my favorite anime of all time.

Man I would have agree with you, if just I didn't watched Kutarou Lives Alone. I know many of you guys would not consider that anime a dark anime, but the background of the mc is just dark for me. And also that eating tissue paper part made me me cry, since I had a similar experience when I was still a kid.

i finished watching this anime a few days ago and i might say even if im not a HUGE anime watcher this anime has left a big impact. its one of the only anime which has left me speechless after watching it. everytime i hear the second opening i always fill a tinge of sadness because who knows when i will get to see such a masterpiece again! i will definitely miss this amazing anime. S tier 10/10 would recommend it to everyone.

There won't be season 2. The manga finished at 139 chapters, and the anime also covers the full manga in 25 episodes. And it's a mysterious anime with crazy plot twist and has a good ending. Stretching it further will only make it look bad. So, it's better to end the anime in 25 episodes

I think what it means it just she save the habitants on the island, not the island. And despite she isn’t there, I think those habitants have somehow survived (not all, only a few, like people in history deal with natural disater) might be due to immagrate or another fishes came to shore (Idk if they have a tale that kinda similar to Hiruko’s tale or they worship other gods). In the end, despite everything, life moved on, and as long as the island is still there, there will be more than 1 ending for the island.

i might be late to the party but here are the irl concepts/ideas that i picked up from this anime (SPOILER) . . . . . . . . . . . . . Schrodinger's cat/Quantum quantum indeterminacy (observer decides/"renders" the outcome), parallel realities, time travel, time loops, "Strange Life of Ivan Osokin" reference, and doppleganger myth... and ofcourse, the power of love which trancends space and time (Interstellar Reference) AHAHAH writer/author of this anime is a genius 10/10 Anime made me think so damn hard as if its a chess game

I'm both sad and happy that I ignored Summertime Rendering when it was airing sad because i underestimated it and happy that i did because i would've not survived the thriller, I completed it today and it was fucking great i had to actually use my brain to predict things, the ending had more expectation but a happy ending is always appreciated

Never watched anime (maybe if like dragon ball z or avatar was on tv but nah) and but I’ve watched tones of movies and tv shows ( all kinds 2D, 3D, pretty munch all genres and cartoons of all genres) and my favourite kinda genre is dystopian sci-fi. And this as the first and most likely last for while is truly amazing from story to visuals gotta be one of my favourite shows I’ve watched.

This anime has everything I've ever wanted from a story, is there anything like this? I have watched rezero and steins gate apart from this, I know erased exists too but I heard the ending is bad so I am reluctant on watching it. It doesn't even have to be time loop though would be preferred but I'm searching for something like this, mystery, suspense, horror, and all those stuff. Not some dumb horror story with cheap scares

I was ready to hop off of this show with the first panty shot in the first episode....BUT THE FACT THAT THEY MADE IT AN ACTUAL POINT TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE HUMANS AND THE SHADOWS!!!! It blew my mind. While the fanservice was a bit too much for my taste the story and the twisted way that this show performed more than made up for it

just finished watching the anime and looking for content bc it was just so good. i do have one complaint about a single plot hole tho. ‼️spoilers‼️ what was with the overlapping loops???? in the og time line Shinpei walked into the Kofune restaurant and the drunk guy asked if Shinpei found Hizaru bc Shinpei asked the man that morning but that didn’t happen in that timeline, it happened in a later loop. like can anyone explain this please😭😭

yoo im also confused, like remember the marks shinpei found on the floor when he first visited shiori's house? those marks were from hizuru's hammer when she was fighting shiori's shadow... but that fight doesnt happen in the current loop, in fact it happens in a later loop.... what?????

@@CrowAtNight Have you even seen Made in Abyss? There's a character who mutilates children and specifically keeps them alive and drugged up so that he can protect himself from a curse. Made in Abyss is the definition of 'fates worse than death' I really liked STR, one of my favorite shows of the year, but you don't need to resort to hyperbole to promote it.

Loved this show. The characters are a little bland, but together, they are a compelling group. The plot gets a little crazy to the end as the scale of the threat goes from spiderman level to avengers level. Mio is best girl fuck you fight me.

Basically a better Re Zero with no constant crying from the Mc, and a cheerful usefull heroine that can actually do something, so much refreshing to see an Mc that tries to solve and learns more about everything before dying, not like "Subaru" who can't stop crying and complaining and barely do any resolve towards the issue, and a lot of the time the guy just suicides, summertime render is much more relatable for me and felt more realistic
