Thankyou. Liability is a main reason for warnings which I understand however for me number one is personal safety which I applaud the video for and am not a lawyer....Misplaced my instructions for my Viper and wanted to refresh in terms of use as did not use last two seasons. Better safe than sorry.

New to the climber world and put it to use this hunting season. ru-vid.comUgkxlQ7TDIrnnSXXbRgFFaxqwullRJJIuYAs I felt safe while climbing up and down a tree. It did take some time getting used to climbing and descending the tree. Once I figured it out I was comfortable going in climbing a tree knowing I was going to be up a tree quickly and most importantly quite not scaring every deer out of my area. I am 6’2” and 240 lbs, fit and comfort were great. I bow hunt and found no issues hunting from it. It is a little bulky to carry in and out of the woods vs some of the smaller open front climbers but I thought it was worth the bulk/weight due to ease of climbing (using the rail to sit on) and comfort for long sits.

Forgot to warn us to blink while watching the video, to take breaks, be careful lifting the gun to the stand, that cold weather can make us sick, that a deer can attack me, or that birds can poop on me from the stand. Not nearly enough warnings. The video should be 2 hours minimum. Plus don’t forget we have to sign a waiver to watch the video. Giving you grief but honestly this is a 8 minute video and we know we can get hurt or die if we don’t follow the instructions to a T. Sadly these 30 minute videos are our only option to see how your stands perform. Your only other videos are 30 seconds with some guy saying this stand is my favorite stand, this is my favorite stand, and 6 seconds of highlights. I do plan on getting a summit stand next year but we could really use a 3-4 minute video showing the highlights of each stand. I need this since your stands like the hex and vine barely have any real world reviews so my only choice is skimming this warning videos of your different stands.

Too many lawyers involved in making this video. Hard to watch!

agreed, but if people weren't so quick to sue over every little thing, it wouldn't be necessary :(

This is a nice light product to backpack however I do not find it as safe as the old steel climber I have. Lots of slippage if you do not adhere to the angles recommended. If the teeth were sharper to allow them to dig into the tree more would be a plus. Maybe stainless and make them replaceable. More finite adjustable cables instead of every 4 inches. Be safe with this and wear a harness folks! Make sure the line is used between the platforms and has a tight knot. Good luck hunting and be safe!

Should cable notches be equal on both sides before climbing?

Summit needs to replace umbilical cord to safety straps attached to both sides like you can find from third hand archery will be much more safety

Please refer to the comments on this video before making another instructional video This video would have only been 15 mins without all the warnings.

I bought the viper..first climbing stand...returned it without using it...its big and cumbersome and can't see how anyone could carry it in quietly or quickly

And the backpack straps make it feel like you are carrying a large midget on your neck.

I bought mine a year ago... didn't use it all season because just too complicated. Then I practiced in the summer, and finally started climbing this fall. But it took 3rd party shoulder straps and a belt strap to make it possible to carry quietly. Plus a lot of practice. It also helped to have a guy at the hunting club show me how it's done.

Why isn't the video done in the order which you need to assemble and use the treestand? It jumps about all over the place.

At 27:45, the third item for self-extraction: "Your" should be "You're" and "confidents" should be "confident".

Just got the Viper SD, the directions blow. More warning labels then instructions that are for all stands, very confusion. Looks like nice stand, focus on quick set-up guide for that stand. Will up date if hanging from a tree. P.S. would appreciate made in US vs the other name on it. Put America before profit, I would spend more.
