In my opinion, I reckon the NRL didn't do enough, and they should have gone one step further, and suspended them from the competition until further notice.
It’s just 4 full years/seasons from 2006-2009 that the Storm⛈ cheated, Let me break it down for you ok 2006 is the 1st full year/season 2007 is the 2th full year/season 2008 is the 3rd full year/season 2009 is the 4th & final full year/season when the Storm ⛈ got away with cheating 2010 round 5 is when the Storm⛈ got caught by a whistle blower & then the Storm⛈ was punished heavily by the NRL during round 5 of 2010 NRL season, The Storm harsh punishments was handed down by the NRL on 22-4-2010 1: 6 championships was stripped off the Storm ⛈!!! 3 NRL minor championships(2006, 2007, 2008) 2 NRL championships(2007, 2009) 1 world club challenge championship(2010) 2: 1.6 million dollars fine which is the biggest fine in Australian🇦🇺 Sports history, 3: the Storm⛈ 8 ladder points was deducted & they can’t play for points for the rest of the 2010 NRL season meaning they got the 2010 NRL wooden spoon 🥄, 4: 1 million dollars cut down on their salary cap for 1 NRL season & that season was the 2011 NRL season, As a proud Storm⛈ fan since 2006 it’s was sad😞 time as a Storm⛈ fan for me back then but hey my team definitely deserve these harsh punishments tho, At least we just do salary cap cheating & not enhancing performance drugs cheating, Because enhancing performance drugs cheating is worse then salary cap cheating when it comes to Sports cheating, And yet people still call the Storm ⛈ “Protected species” of the NRL which is false cause they was punish harshly by the NRL so I don’t why people call the Storm ⛈ “NRL protected species”, The real NRL protected species is the NRL referee’s cause they do not get match bans/suspensions or fines for their unprofessional actions on the field where the players & the teams do get punished by the NRL.
@@patorr69 maybe so, however he is correct. The storm lost way more the. They gained. but yet still make the finals and win prems years after this. can hate the storms CEO. But you can’t blame the talented players. Anyone who does is just a fool.
