I get asked all the time how I prep my meals for the week - and eating high quality, unprocessed food I cook myself is key. I like this guy, it is a realistic meal plan. Something I see myself eating and I have most of the food that he and his family eats. I also already have the Pyrex and the instantpot. Good content, good job.

Just found out about your channel & I'm surprised that it's underrated. The information that you shared here are insanely beneficial and helpful to lots of people. You touched on every aspects that most of people are struggling when they wanted to start eating clean. I am from Malaysia & I can relate a lot when it comes to the types of foods that you're prepping. This is the first time I can fully copy a Western's full meal prep . Great info & keep up the good work!

Absolutely love turkey/pasta sauce/veggie recipe! Tried it and added onions, garlic salt, almost half jar of sauce, trader joe's roasted corn, and finished with cilantro! Cilantro is the secret ingredient! Very satisfying! Super easy! This is going into my Sunday meal prep too!

Thank you for sharing what you do with us. Where may I found the recipe for the pulled pork? I don't get how you get this meal without burning the instant pot. (you don't even pour liquid!) I love when you make recipe videos.

I'm pretty new to Macro plans. I have an app and I am learning to count and add to it. I am Also a female, so I don't get near the amount you do. I do have pasture raised pork and would love to enjoy it too.. Can you do a Newbie or Macro meal plan 101 video. I'm still trying to figure out how to precooked within macros.

My man! loving the content. Quick question if you don't mind, on average what are your daily macro ratio percentages% ?

I’m so glad to hear that. I range between 3500-4000 Cals a day. My Bodyweight is about 182 and my comp is around 5% BF. My macros are usually 220 protein, 150-250 carbs, and the rest fat. Higher carb days when my body is telling me it wants or needs it. I’ll occasionally indulge in carbs and go up to 400 but I almost always feel crummy the next day

@@marcusfilly you are a beast, killer stats man! that's interesting macro split in keeping the fats higher than the carbs. haha funny because we know we will feel crummy but we just can't resist a good carb binge. On the days you do consume 400carbs do you drop the fats or proteins so calories don't spill over? I'm always testing things out seeing what my body likes the most currently back to basics on C40% P30% F30% would you recommend same carb, pro, fat percentages for each meal of the day or have most of the daily carb intake before and after workouts with less fats and more fats and less carbs in the other meals that are not around workouts? if all that makes any sense haha

Very nice video. Me and the wife watched it, some nice tips and inspiring, I think. ( even though we are pescetarians) One question : We try to avoid rice, and go for quinoa, food oats, bulgur or similar. What is your reason for going with rice? Greetings from Sweden.

Rice is a great carb source and easily digestible, but your choices have more fiber and protien. They generally have more minerals and micronutrients as well, and as a pescetarian you need those additional sources of protein. Personally, I MUCH prefer the texture and flavor of rice, but all are good choices.

One of my struggles when cooking in bulk is figure out the final size of the meal so I feel satisfied. Sometimes I hit my macros but the final meal leaves me hungry... Is there any trick you use to figure out the perfect meal?? Thanks for the videos. Loving all your content. Regards

Hello ! Thanks for your video ! You mentioned that you cook with bacon fat, but is bacon fat bad for those suffering from high cholesterol ? What tips would you give for people with high cholesterol ? Many thanks !

It isn’t a simple yes or no. Cholesterol consumption and blood chemistry aren’t directly relative. Sugar plays a big role.

Im still a little confused as to have to track meats after cooking it in bulk for multiple people. Usually Ill cook 4lbs of chicken at a time and have it in the fridge for meals throughout the week for two people. Would I need to separate all the meat right away to see how much we all get.. I usually just weigh 4 oz pre meal but now that you mention its inaccurate.. Im trying to understand how to make my weighing more accurate weigh cooking bulk for two people while not having a bunch of individual meals in the fridge. Thank you for the video!!

I’ll try to make a video about this to explain better. But what you might want to do is cook 4lbs of chicken and then weigh it after cooking. It could be as low as 3lbs due to water loss. Therefore 3oz cooked chicken would actually be 4oz of raw chicken. Food labels on meat refer to the raw weight typically

I am also interested on how to do this for bulk meat. Maybe there is some type of conversion out there. I have always weighed after cooking, but makes total sense about weighing it raw.

@@mitchellvanicelli4176 what I do is I weigh and cook bulk meat (say 2lbs of raw ground chicken and I want it to serve 3 meals), I then cook the meat, weigh the meat again (cooked), divide by 3, that’s how many grams I will have per meal. So I store the batch cooked ground meat in a container, every time I eat I just weigh out the portion that I calculated above. Simple ~~~ And you track the raw meat (2lbs/3=0.67lbs per meal)

Bro, if you weigh raw Turkey at 11oz and then weigh it cooked at 8oz, how much Turkey are you eating? Answer: 8oz, not 11oz. The reason for the difference is because after you cook your Turkey a lot of the water and other substances get used up through the cooking process. That’s why you should always weigh your protein after it’s cooked, not before, to give you an accurate quantity. Since you base your calorie intake on a weight of uncooked protein, I’d suggest your eating a lot less than 3700-4000 calories per day.

Everything you have said is correct. However, Nutrition facts on meat containers are based on raw weight. If you use those facts and weigh your good raw it is the most accurate. Cooked weight and cooked Nutrition facts exists. But they are not as accurate. Cook that same turkey for another 10mins (overcook it) and it will weight only 6.5oz. It’s all still the same amount of protein and calories. The most reliable measurement is the raw weight and raw Nutrition facts.
